Installed this custom timber handrail for an elderly couple in Christchurch.

As mobility becomes more challenging, even a few steps can affect confidence and independence. The gentleman of the house had started to struggle with these patio steps, so we installed a sturdy handrail to provide extra support and make accessing the garden safer and more comfortable.

Renovation project nearly complete ✅

The Coreworks team have been busy this past week on this renovation project.

From freshly skimmed ceilings to new oak handrail & base rails complete with new white spindles. Finally a fresh coat of paint throughout and what a difference it’s made for this existing client of ours.

Another compliant fire door 🔥🚪

This new client of ours (a landlord) contacted us following a personal recommendation where his previous carpenter had used all the wrong hardware so the door could not be signed off.

Now fully compliant, the door is safe providing those necessary 30 minutes for means of escape.
