Space was the limiting factor with this build. The customer needed a secure space to store outside with very limited space, this was the solution.
Everything was custom made to measure, euro cylinder lock and handle set as well as a toughened steel hasp and latch.

This was an interesting little project.
Customer wanted the existing garage removed to make way for an outside bar area. The aim of this was to gain back the space of the limited sized garden and to create a space to be able to socialise and hold parties in.... OH, and the tree HAD to be included in the wall as a feature.... Yes this really was interesting.

The customer wanted the timber from the original garage to be used again where possible, along with a load of used wood effect flooring which had been stored since having the floor changed in the house. This is what i clad the walls and the bar in! We managed to up-cycle almost all of the old timber and turn it into this fantastic space.

This really was a one off project and completely customised to its space and existing infrastructure. I'm really happy with how i managed to include the tree into the wall and it just sets it off perfectly, just look at that scribe!

The bar is simple yet effective, and it is the perfect party piece. Best of all it is all re-used timber!

Existing patio extension.
Retaining wall built and infilled. Most of the existing slabs had collapsed, we took them all up and laid them on a fresh bed of muck. The new slabs were laid on a cement sand mix for longevity.
This patio is simple, yet effective. It transformed the customers old patio into the perfect place for a gathering.... but no more than 6 remember! ;)

💥Garage Update💥

We are now up to full height.
The design features 2 brick piers to the front of the garage, this supports the lintel for the garage door. The garage/shed/potting shed is concrete block which will be clad in cedar. There will be an internal sliding door and a door to the shed on the side.
We are just finishing the roof timbers ready to ply before felting.
The block paving up to the garage has been removed and re-layed with the new gradient up to the new garage floor height.

The next step is to finish the roof and get it felted, we will then move onto cladding the exterior walls.

Foundations are in, blues and blocks have been build to finished concrete floor level and the garage floor is in and levelled ready to carry on laying up to height next week.

Concrete pad is in! Next week we will continue to build the blocks up to height ready for roofing.

Who's been singing then? It's all fun and games until it rains! Our Garage build has just begun, old garage taken down with asbestos roof safely removed and taken away. Just ripping up old foundations ready to dig footings for the new garage!

CLOSED UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE

Well that's a wrap! I shall be setting off to travel tomorrow, we have finished at the harborne project for now and I shall post the finished pictures once all trades have finished.

I want to take a moment to say thank you to all our clients for your continued support and work. We will be back offering our services as usual once I am back from travelling, however long that may be.
