We're pretty chuffed we've reached a couple of digital milestones this last couple of weeks.

We had a first customer recommended to us via CHAT GBT, a completely independent digital opinion.

Secondly, we received contact from Google to inform us our organic website hits means our website information is now included in Googles standard results algorithms.

Anyone not technical may not understand. But these are things businesses pay thousands to achieve through their advertising budgets and review manipulations.

Our entire advertising budget is focused on a few local parish magazines.

We're very pleased to announce Craig Bond has to today passed his f-gas training for air conditioning and heat pumps.

Within a few weeks (to give him chance to process all he's learnt) we will be able to offer a complete suite of HVAC services

Very proud to say Craig has received his heat pump qualifications with flying colours.

We are now able to service, maintain and install new heat pump.

In due course, Craig will be taking his refrigerant course enabling the full maintenance of the f-gas side of your heat pumps as well as the installation and servicing of AC units 😁

Domestic kerosene prices have reached a 2 year low this month.

Bought at the right time, kerosene is currently one of the cheapest forms of energy per KW as shown below.

Also what this chart shows, is the cost of switching off the boiler over summer and moving to electric for hot water. As you can see, the cost is 6 times as expensive.

Why is boiler servicing important? And why should you pay attention to the quality or service you receive?

For our oil customers, our first visit to you can take 2, sometimes 3 hours. Unfortunately we frequently find boilers in poor care and condition and therefore we charge hourly rates to get your boiler back in shape. Recently we have had a large increase of new customers who have had a service and within a week are suffering serious malfunction. Most recently a boiler flooded with kerosene, posing a dangerous fire risk.

So what does a service involve?

• A comprehensive service includes essential replacement or cleaning of burner injectors, oil filters and flexible hoses where showing signs of age or expiry.

• A full and thorough clean of the heat exchanger, combustion chamber and burner.

• Measument and calibration of the flue gasses

• Inspection of your oil tanks safety and compliance

A record of service should always be issued from an oftec complaint business.

Well folk's, that's a 'wrap'.

It's been another amazing year, which is all thanks to you, our loyal customers, for the continued support.

We've been extremely busy, especially over the last few months, as we've done our best to get to you when you needed us most. So we're taking a much needed break over the Christmas period and we will be back on Monday 6th January 2025, rested and ready.

So all that's left for us to say is;
