Carrying out a service on this Ideal Logic in Brackley but found the casing was all cracked, therefore the appliance was no longer room sealed.. and had to be turned off.

Returned to site today with the new casing, carried out the service as normal, and back to its safe working condition. Heating and hot water back on! 🙌🏻

Just goes to show the importance of having your gas appliances checked regularly.

Called into this new build property in Banbury, to replace both basin / pedestal set ups for vanity units.

With a lot of space in both the main bathroom and en suite, but a lack of storage, our customer purchased these vanity units to overcome this. 🙌🏻

They look great and as if they had been installed since day one.

Lots of jobs completed recently!

With the warmer weather here, it’s the perfect time for heating upgrades such as changing radiators and radiator valves.

Also changed a lot of kitchen taps too, and installed this electric shower as the previous one was leaking from every joint inside the unit.

Last picture was from a boiler, where the customer had work done by others but left the filling loop open, over pressurising the boiler and causing the PRV to open.

Bathroom upgrade, unfortunately had no before pictures! 😕 We removed the old pedestal, basin and pan as these were looking dated, and the bathroom needed some storage!

Bath remained, but had a new tap installed. New vanity unit and close coupled pan. All sanitary ware was supplied by the customer, and we fitted it for them, bringing this bathroom to a much cleaner, modern looking standard!

Tiling was carried out by others.

Recently had post through your door alerting you that you have a leak somewhere. Here’s a few things to check first!

Do you have any taps that are dripping? 💧 Although it may not seem like a lot, it soon adds up on the water meter. We carry a selection of cartridges to fix those leaking taps, first time round.

Secondly, we’ve been to hundreds of these Ideal flush valves where the seals are full of scale, preventing them from closing, and you’ll notice water running into the pan constantly. We carry the new genuine Ideal flush valve seals, to replace the old style black seals.

17 year old Vaillant with a full service. 🔧
- Heat exchanger all cleaned out.
- New insulation pad, electrodes and burner gasket
- New flue collector and flue seals
- Expansion vessel recharged, condense trap cleaned out

Looking inside the casing you would think the boiler is only a few years old.
All burning cleanly and set for another year!

🥶 Called out to this 15 year old Worcester CDi which had come to its end, it hadn’t been serviced for a while and had several issues with it, leaving this customer without heating and hot water.

We supplied and installed this 8000+ as a like for like replacement, complete with new system filter and Worcester’s RF thermostat.

The new boiler comes with a 10 year warranty, for peace of mind, but I think they are just grateful to have heating and hot water again! 🙌🏻

A few jobs from this week!

Full strip down service on this Worcester Bosch boiler. All new electrodes and burner gasket. Throughly cleaned out inside, to keep the boiler running as efficiently as possible!

Central heating system clean. Connected up our MagnaCleanse unit to the system filter we installed. Agitated all radiators within this property to remove any sludge and magnetite from the system. This will help to heat those radiators up from top to bottom and improve the system efficiency.

First boiler replacement of the year completed ✅

Out with the old Baxi Solo, and in with a new Baxi 800 combination boiler.

By converting to a combi boiler, our customer can benefit from the following;

Mains pressure to hot and cold water outlets ✅
Hot water on demand, rather than having to heat up the cylinder ✅
No more cisterns within the loft area ✅
More storage space within the airing cupboard and utility room! ✅
