Avalonian Gardens is partnered with Steve Jennings Gardening, and specialise in grounds around 5 acres in size. We have a good range of high quality tools and experience to manage your estate throughout the seasons. We cover pests and diseases, plant divisions and propagation, lawn care, all manner of pruning, irrigation, mulching and other useful things such as construction of affordable compost

bays from pallets. We can make plant recommendations based on environment and soil types, and facilitate the creation of new garden beds. To that end, we can handle garden design, though for large scale works we highly recommend award winning Sebastian Jans Garden Design. With our partners we can also offer high quality fencing and small landscaping projects. Certified RHS Level 2 Diploma in Horticulture, further training through Grayshaw and Yeo and the experience of voluntary work at Kew Gardens - Avalonian Gardens provides competitive rates and a friendly service with a personal touch.

The contrast of vibrance and dirt / grittiness, with the added texture of the glass in this toilet made for an unexpected work of art. I got Resident Evil (the game) vibes from it.

Bees Flies, and Butterflies (maybe some wasps too..)

They're all going mad for the ivy (Sept to Nov a year or two back). I hear the nectar from ivy has a relatively high glucose content, which causes the honey to crystalise. Bees use water to decrystalise it, which can be a little tricky for them in Winter if everything freezes. It's otherwise a great source of nectar late in the year.

A before and after of a garden I reworked.

Restored the lawn, installed edging, drip-line irrigation and new plants. The Rudbeckia have Daffodils to replace them during Winter / early Spring.

Great to work on and see these beds designed by Sebastian Jans Landscape and Garden Design fill out. Some of them have had a few years, and the ones near the house are freshly done this year. Seb's designs are always fantastic.

I was particularly impressed by the landscaping co-ordinated by https://www.instagram.com/jamestaylorlandscapes/ . There are an incredible amount of variables to tie together and co-ordinate with this kind of work. An impressive and efficient operation.
