We are offering our resources to the elderly and vulnerable today. If you need help with any of the following

- medical supplies
- prescriptions
- shopping runs
- lifts to hospital or doctors appointments
- & more requirements

If you are a key worker and your vehicle is stuck in snow or ice, we can also tow you out with our 4x4.

It was a pleasure meeting some of the NHS heroes this morning. We managed to get about over Bradford and got as many people as we could where they needed to be, pulling out a few stuck cars too.

Apologies to those who we couldn’t get to, or reply to, in the busier period of the morning

Now main roads are clear and public transport is running, we have now resumed some business but offered to help the vulnerable and elderly in another post.

Lifts are now only available where staff are well off a gritted area

Roofing Apprenticeship - Bradford
Start: Summer 2025

Are you 16-18, Leaving school this year? Have an interest in working within the construction industry? This opportunity is not to be missed.

The Purple Roofing Company is looking for a young individual with a desire for a career in construction to undertake a full apprenticeship in roofing. The required individual will be expected to have a self-driven personality and continuously improve their skill set with the support of our training and development values. The Purple Roofing Co. offer an apprentice package that will support your learning with academic and financial incentives as well as support from experienced and qualified mentors. The Purple Roofing Co. will support the successful applicant through an NVQ level 2 qualification with roofing occupations with a further view to successful career within the company.

Your job description as a roofing apprentice within The Purple Roofing Co. will include:
- Demonstrating a desire to continuously develop
- Work alongside and undertake roofing duties in alignment with the companies’ services
- Attend college learning in block release
- Work within the company’s values and present professionalism to clients

Your time as an apprentice with The Purple Roofing Co. will be split between on-site learning with an experienced and qualified mentor, college-based learning and other courses that are beneficial to yourself and the company.
