We’re incredibly proud to share that Yorkshire Fence Hire Ltd has raised £900 for Candlelighters after taking on the Total Warrior challenge! 💛💪

A huge thank you to everyone who donated, supported, and encouraged us along the way. Every pound raised will help Candlelighters continue their amazing work supporting children with cancer and their families across Yorkshire.

Taking on Total Warrior was tough, but knowing we were doing it for such an incredible cause made every obstacle worthwhile.

On Saturday, Kris, Mark, Kasim and Jordan from Yorkshire Fence Hire took on the 12k Total Warrior Challenge — and absolutely smashed it. They battled through mud, water and plenty of obstacles, ending up soaked but smiling.

Thanks to their amazing effort, they’ve already raised £720.00 for The Candlelighters Trust. Huge well done to the team — what a fantastic achievement for a brilliant cause.

On Saturday 27th June 2026, 4 members of the Yorkshire Fence Hire team will be taking on the Total Warrior, 12k Warrior challenge at Bramham Park in Leeds.
Whilst this will be a challenge in itself, we are also aiming to raise as much money as we can for the Candlelighters Charity in Leeds.

What a great start for BSPCC hardball team. Well done ladies.

The hardball team started their season with a home game against Skipton. The team have added a few new faces and were excited to start the season.

Skipton won the toss and elected to bowl first. Buttershaw started with the experience pair of Vikki Rivers and Miia who got the team off to a brilliant start with an opening partnership of 30 runs. Next up were Kath and Vikki Roberts who continued to show what this team is all about with a solid performance adding 27 to the board. Our third pair were the new pair of Sarah and Shannon who played some excellent shots - building on the opening pairs - and added another 19 runs. The final pair of Laura and another debutant Nevaeh had to contend with some excellent Skipton bowing ending with 22 runs. An excellent all round batting performance left the girls with a brilliant score of 283.

Buttershaw were confident of putting on a good performance in the field and Vikki Rivers struck early in the first over clean bowling one of the Skipton opening pair. A huge shout out to Vikki Roberts who stepped into the role of wicket keeper and produced an excellent performance throwing herself at everything that came her way. Moment of the match was a terrific run out from Vikki’s direct throw at the stumps. That set the tone for the fielding which was excellent throughout. Buttershaw picked up a 3rd wicket through Laura and from then the result was no longer in doubt despite a spirited effort from the final Skipton pair, closing their innings on 268.
