Another job completed by team this morning with a few carefully chosen electrical upgrades making a big difference to the house

The team replaced 2 existing pendant lights on the upstairs landing with modern fittings
Replaced the kitchen pendant light with a new contemporary fitting
Installed a new double socket for a tumble dryer in the utility room

These upgrades have helped give the property a cleaner more modern appearance while also making the new utility space more practical and functional

⚡ Another successful remedial project completed by Pedder Electrical! ⚡

Following a failed EICR, our team carried out the required remedial works to bring this installation back up to standard, including:

✅ New RCBO consumer unit with SPD protection, replacing the existing board due to its damaged enclosure and compromised IP rating.
✅ Replacement smoke alarms.
✅ Replacement of cracked electrical accessories.
✅ New cooker switch fitted to replace a faulty existing switch.
✅ Like-for-like electric shower replacement after the original shower bracket had broken, compromising the IP rating. The new shower was correctly installed and sealed to prevent water ingress.
✅ Replacement of the external light bracket and enclosure to restore the correct IP rating and provide protection against the elements.

Today we completed the second fix on a kitchen remodel, installing sleek black accessories throughout to finish off the modern look.

We fitted 3 bowl lights above the island, 2 additional lights around the kitchen worktops, and a further feature light on the opposite side of the kitchen.

Another project taking shape with quality electrical work and attention to detail. ⚡

Job Completed – Spotlight & Outdoor Socket Replacement

Today we attended a property to carry out several electrical improvements and fault repairs.

✅ Replaced and rewired 11 spotlights that were previously supplied via an old, noisy transformer located in the loft. The outdated transformer was removed and the lighting circuit was upgraded to provide a safer and more reliable installation.

✅ Replaced 2 poorly installed outdoor sockets, ensuring they were correctly fitted and compliant with current regulations.

✅ Diagnosed and repaired a fault affecting the garage lighting, restoring full operation to the circuit.

All works were completed successfully, leaving the installation safer, more reliable, and ready for continued use. ⚡️🔧

Today we returned to complete the final connection of a hot tub installation.

The supply was connected from the rotary isolator directly into the hot tub, with all testing and checks completed to ensure the installation is safe and ready for use.

Just in time for the sunny weather – the client can now enjoy their hot tub with complete peace of mind. ☀️🔌♨️

Another hot tub installation completed today ⚡️♨️

We installed a dedicated hot tub supply complete with a rotary isolator, while also uprating the cable to a 10mm swa to future-proof the installation for any larger or more powerful hot tubs in the future.

All work was completed safely, neatly, and fully tested to ensure a reliable outdoor power supply ready for use
