As the seasons shift into spring and summer, outdoor spaces become more central to everyday living.

Forest Hall reimagined an unused garden into a defined outdoor setting, organised around a minimal swimming pool. Two new outbuildings were introduced, one for guest use and social occasions, the other as a private gym, each positioned to respond to the surrounding views.

A restrained palette and simple brick detailing allow the buildings to sit quietly within their context, bringing structure to what was previously an undefined space.

The result is a clear and functional composition, supporting both everyday use and seasonal living.

Proposed materials and textures for Creedy, laid out to review tone, texture and overall compatibility.

Zinc forms part of the material palette currently being explored, alongside other finishes under consideration, allowing us to assess how these elements work together and inform the architectural direction as the design develops.

Concept sketch of an extension creating additional living space with a clear relationship to the garden and surrounding landscape.

The approach is defined by generous glazed openings, allowing the extension to read as a subtle pavilion. An external canopy supports the use of the space throughout the year and reinforces the connection between inside and out.

This design celebrates the dialogue between the original structure and our contemporary additions. By utilising subtle changes in level and materiality, we have defined distinct spaces whilst maintaining a sense of openness.

This legible transition between old and new creates a calm, flexible environment that is designed to evolve gracefully alongside the lifestyle of the family.
