Big shout out to north devon t4s for getting my Van's welding all sorted. Highly recommend tim mathers. Top bloke.
He has cutout and welded in a complete new sliding doorstep and wheel arch inner and outer, aswell as some mechanical jobs needed for the mot. Good to have my daily workhorse back.

Well, it's been an extremely busy couple of months. Sorry to those of you that I haven't been able to respond to, time has been in short supply and i have been unable to answer all of your enquiries.

Today seems like the first day in a while with a spare hour, so thought I'd take 5 mins to post a few pics of what I've been keeping busy with.

A couple of small kitchens and utility rooms. Some external and internal cladding. A few doors.

I Jumped at the chance to assist with restoring an original elm floor and then to help lay new solid oak flooring, both in beautiful listed properties

✨Centre update! ✨

We are super excited to announce the completion of our new sales area at the countryside centre. 🙌🏻

As part of our project funded by The National Lottery Heritage Fund, we had the pleasure of being able to design & improve the area where our microscope used to be, into a new sales area complete with new nature themed books and gifts.

We are very grateful to Andrew French Carpenter & Joiner for creating the lovely wooden shelving space and to Ross from Maynard Electrical for adding in the spot lighting that has made the space come to life.

A big thank you to The National Lottery Heritage Fund for funding this major improvement! 👏🏻

Managed to duck in and get a couple of photos in-between other trades finishing off and the new tenants arriving.

Excuse the visible pipework, had to work around what I was given with this one. It will end up behind the washing machine and not seen.

Van pods delivered over the weekend.

These were designed and made to the customers specifications.
Drawer from side door and a large drawer with removable dividers to rear of van.
Ladder storage in other pod.

Busy week in the workshop so far.
Nice to be back to it after moving house and all that entails.

A lovely Iroko hardwood gate and posts ready to go. This one's off to Lee Bay. Made to order to match in with an existing gate on the property.

Every week is something different, that's one of the reasons I am so grateful for the work that I do. A lot of thought, time, and skill goes into the final product. It gives me great satisfaction to see the completed jobs.

2nd job is one of two van pods for a customer in Braunton.

Constructed using buffalo board throughout for a great grippy finish to the drawers and top. This pod will have a drawer extending out from the sliding side door and another huge 1100mm drawer extending from the rear of the van. Both on heavy duty locking drawer runners.

The second pod will be an open box for stepladder storage. Incorporating a removable, drop in end, allowing the ability to remove it and carry extra long goods that would extend into the cab under passenger seat.

So far, a good week. And it's even felt a bit springlike at times 🙏
