🚧 June is shaping up to be another busy month for RDL Plastering & Rendering LTD 🚧

We’re proud to be taking on a fantastic range of projects across the East Midlands this month, including:

✔️ Render removal and monocouche finish to a bay window in Long Eaton
✔️ Large extension boarding and plastering project in Derby
✔️ 2-bedroom board and skim in Derby
✔️ Extension monocouche rendering in Belper
✔️ External wall rendering project in Eastwood

We’d also like to officially welcome Nathan to our growing team 👏

Nathan is a highly skilled construction worker who has worked on high-rise buildings in London since the age of 16 as a steel erector. His experience, work ethic and knowledge make him a fantastic addition to the company.

Nathan will be supporting our boarding team, helping to keep projects running efficiently and allowing our plasterers to focus on what they do best.

Emma will continue focusing on client care, site visits and ensuring every project runs smoothly and customers remain happy throughout — although knowing Emma, she’ll no doubt still be found grafting on-site at some point too! 💪

Happy Tuesday from RDL Plastering & Rendering LTD.

We are travelling home from our honeymoon today and would like to thank all clients for their patience while we’ve been away.

All messages and emails will be responded to tomorrow morning once I have access to my diary to arrange visits and schedule projects.

We are officially on holiday! 💍✨

Before we switch off for our wedding and honeymoon, we would like to take a moment to sincerely thank every client who has supported our business. It has been an absolute pleasure working with you all, and we truly appreciate every booking, recommendation, message, and enquiry we receive.

During this time, responses may be slower than usual, but we will reply as soon as possible when we can.

We will return on the 28th May and are currently accepting bookings from August onwards.

Fantastic end to the week with the sun finally making an appearance ☀️

A beautifully orchestrated piece of monocouche work completed by Rob and Brad this week — great teamwork, attention to detail, and a flawless finish from start to finish.

We used the EcoRend system on this project, and it performed brilliantly. The system not only delivers a clean, modern aesthetic but also provides excellent weather protection, durability, and breathable performance for external wall insulation and render applications.

Really pleased with how this one came together — quality workmanship backed by quality materials.

Every good construction company needs skilled workers, experience… and at least one person shouting “WHO’S TOOK MY TROWEL?” 🤦‍♂️

Here’s the team behind RDL 👇

👷‍♂️ **Robert – Co-owner / Director**
35 years in construction after starting on site at just 14 years old.
Specialises in plastering and rendering — and drinking tea before it goes cold for once ☕😂

👩‍💼 **Emma – Co-owner / Director**
25 years experience in business management, sales, marketing and accounting.
Usually in the office keeping the business running… but occasionally turns up on site to supervise the lads and remind everyone who’s actually in charge 😅

👷 **Bradley – Plasterer**
Trained by his own dad and Rob in the family business over the last 8 years. Fast, efficient and always on the move.
If you stand still too long near Brad, you’ll probably get boarded in.

🦺 **Jack – Site Manager / Health & Safety**
Started steel erecting at 16 and now specialises in health & safety management and site management. Loves boarding and making sure everyone follows the rules… even when they pretend not to hear him 👀

👦 **Maddon – Apprentice Plasterer**
First year apprentice with loads of enthusiasm and a brilliant work ethic. Still learning the trade… and where everyone hides the good tools.

⚡ **Geoff – Retired Electrician (Apparently)**
Years of construction experience specialising in electrics. Officially retired… but somehow still appears when there’s boarding to do.
We’re starting to think he just misses the banter.
