Cheeky little number sorted on my mother’s kitchen and utility room.

Out with old black worktops and replaced with Howdens Aged Oak worktops and Sage green tiles which were by Wickes.

No trims were wanted so mitred cuts around the window recess.

Downing tools now for holiday next week 💪

Working up in Norfolk last week with Anglian plumbing heating and electrics. 67-54-28 copper piping for REZNOR gas heaters up 6 meters on skyjacks was definitely squeaky bum time. I don’t like heights 😫😫😫

All pressure tested and spot.

Cheeky little day of screeding kitchen floor all the way over to Stoke by Clare in Suffolk.

Levelling compound to fully level to 1st floor height in order for Celotex to be laid with 500 grade vapour barrier, another level of screed for 2nd floor height and under floor heating.

Ceiling boarded and levelled as joists was between 28-40 mm gradient. Dry rot was evident in the joists which was treated with chemicals to make harder than the timber itself. But not enough to have replaced. Wiring for downlighting and extractor fan reconfigured and installed ready for the plasterer to skim.

Well this bathroom is going to be fun. Maybe possibly NOT !!!!

Gotta love dodging a pot hole only to have another creep up and damaging the tyre. Oh well. Today has been a money grab out of me. New alternator, service and 2 new tyres. At least I can claim my tax back 😁
