JC Watson are delighted to announce our Trainee Engineer Tommy Beardwell has now successfully completed his City & Guilds 2079 FGas Category 1 qualification.

Tommy has spent the last 7 months working with our experienced team of engineers, gaining knowledge and experience which has undoubtedly helped him in becoming a Maintenance Engineer at JC Watson.

Tommy is a hard-working member of the team, and he will use his training from working within our team to thrive in his new role as a Maintenance Engineer. With the continued support of the JC Watson team, we are looking forward to seeing Tommy grow within his new role.

In 2020, Josh embarked on an exciting journey with our team as a Trainee Maintenance Engineer. After completing 2 years of college, and earning a City & Guilds qualification in Construction Skills and Health and Safety, he was eager to find his true calling.

Determined to master a specific trade, Josh chose the dynamic world of air conditioning and refrigeration, and we couldn't be more thrilled! ๐Ÿš€

Maintenance Engineer
The right candidate should be fully trained in the service and maintenance of most AC and refrigeration equipment and able to work to a high standard without direct supervision.
Experience is essential in split, VRV/VRF, AC, AHU systems and refrigeration.
Must have a positive manner, be a confident communicator, have experience in face-to-face customer communications, and be willing to build a good rapport with customers on site.
Computer literate to a basic level.
Skill card is required but can be applied for on commencement of employment.

The Role
Carrying out PPM and reactive works on various AC and refrigeration equipment.

Benefits
Basic salary ยฃ28,000 to ยฃ34,000 per annum for a 40-hour week, dependent on experience
22 days annual leave plus Bank Holidays
Company pension scheme
Opportunities for overtime
Company vehicle, mobile, tablet and specialist tools provided

Requirements
F-Gas certificate (City and Guilds 2079)
2 years minimum experience within AC / refrigeration
Full Driving licence

Service Engineer
The right candidate should be fully trained in service, repairs and fault finding on most AC and refrigeration equipment and able to work to a high standard without direct supervision.
Experience is essential in split, VRV/VRF, AC, AHU systems and refrigeration (Chiller experience would be an advantage but is not essential).
Must have a positive manner, be a confident communicator, have experience in face-to-face customer communications, and be willing to build a good rapport with customers on site.
Computer literate to a basic level.
May occasionally be required to supervise other engineers where support is required.
Skill card is required but can be applied for on commencement of employment.

The Role

Preventive and reactive maintenance on all equipment.
