Small fence replacement completed

A neat smaller job replacing the old boundary with a fresh run of close board fencing.

We installed 3 x 6ft close board panels with 6” concrete gravel boards and concrete slotted posts, giving the area a cleaner, stronger and longer-lasting finish.

Materials supplied by Borderland Fencing Centre, Newgate Lane branch.

Full fence replacement and new gate installation

A tired old boundary removed and replaced with a much cleaner, stronger setup.

For the side boundary, we installed 5’6” close board panels on 6” concrete gravel boards with concrete slotted posts.

The rear boundary was built using 5ft close board panels with 1ft concrete gravel boards, with extra gravel boards added in the left-hand corner where the ground needed additional retaining.

We also installed a new framed close board gate with an infill panel to finish the access point neatly.

Shed replacement and installation

A tired old 6x8 shed replaced with a much smarter and more practical new setup. We also installed new fence panels and concrete gravel boards behind the new shed before installation.

The original shed had seen better days, so we removed it, relocated the shed base, and installed a new, cleaner style shed better suited for use as a garden home office/storage space.

A solid upgrade for the garden, neater, brighter, more secure and much more usable.

Bespoke lean-to pergola completed

A recent timber lean-to/pergola build, creating a much more defined and usable patio area for the customer.

Built using 6x6 C24 timber posts with 6x2 C24 beams and supports, with the framework carefully notched together for a strong, clean finish.

We also used small joist hangers where the structure meets the house, helping support the beams neatly while keeping the overall look tidy.

A solid, practical addition to the garden, ideal for turning an existing patio into a proper outdoor seating space.

Side access fencing replacement completed 🔨

This old run of fencing had seen better days, so we replaced it with new timber close board fencing, concrete posts and concrete gravel boards.

Using concrete posts and gravel boards helps keep the timber away from ground moisture, giving the fence a stronger and longer-lasting finish.

A clean upgrade that makes the side access look much smarter and more secure.

Fresh gate replacement completed 🔨

A tired old side gate replaced with a new framed timber close board gate and matching side section, giving the entrance a much cleaner and more secure finish.

We also fitted new ironmongery, including hinges, latch and pad bolt, with the rear bracing built properly for strength and long-term use.

A simple upgrade, but it makes a big difference to the look and feel of the space.
