This garden /driveway project was one of our top 3 favourite to undertake in 2024. It not only showcases our multifaceted skill set but also shows off our meticulous approach to work that borders on OCD.

The original outdated rockface wall was replaced with a complimentary reconstituted stone wall with natural stone, that had been cut and dressed, forming the coping stones. These complimented the raj green setts used at the driveway entrance.

The garden was levelled and 40mm Artificial grass installed and new Aco channels around the property that took the downpipe and ground surface water.

A resin bound surface was finally installed at 20mm thickness with a contrasting border.

Contemporary resin bound driveway compete summer 2024 😎😎👌

The original concrete driveway was overlaid as we liased with client to build the surfacing up to allocate his car profile.

The steps were extended using a reinforced permeable comcrete base which was chemically anchored into the concrete driveway.

This paving project comprised of Discreet brickskot Aco channels and recessed inspection chamber lids not to detract from the beautiful yellow limestone stone and accompanying setts.

A firm favourute for last year, not just because of the incredible hospitality received but it allowed us the opportunity to showcase the broad range of skills we acquire and was a testsmebt to the attention to detail we pour into every aspect of our work.

What was previously a rotten raised deck area had been transformedinto a stunning SUDs compliant resin bound surface. Titanium silver forms the main body with moon shadow used as a contrasting border detail sourced from our supplier Daltex.

The edge restraints used were black Ash granite from our paving supplier which were then bullnosed to form a subtle rounded edge on the coping’s. We faced the walls using a black quartz cladding.

The arched hit and miss fencing had to be cut using a jig saw and the capping had ti be ripped down to 12mm to allow is to pliable enough to bend.

This resin driveway completed in Machen, Caerphilly was surface using the Dune blend of Daltex Resin.

The Sweeping charcoal Tobermore block paving and charcoal flow-point offer a lovely contrasting border detail.

A section of stone wall was removed and pillar rebuilt to allow access for an additional car parking space for the client.

During excavation we uncovered a UPVc pipe that was broken and too high so this was dropped and repaired accordingly.

The original pathway to the doorway was not only above DPC but also laid on top of the UPVC door cill so when removing this we uncovered a cavity that we had to bridge using 8m steel to allow us to stone up to the doorway,

The complete front door and side panels were removed and the original 150mm cill swapped for a larger 220mm. This allowed us the overhang to cut down leftover stone into 30mm thickness and clad this section thus providing a seemingness stone finish to the front of the property.

The majority of our work this year has consisted of resin bound surfacing and although we love it like we do all of our work; we also enjoy utilising our full skill set and working with a wider range of materials like in this little job created in Porthcawl a couple of years ago.

The client was originally toying with Porcelain but after showing them them the varied quality natural stone available from our supplier they opted for a silver granite slab with mid grey granite border detail.

Sleepers originally formed the planter bed at the rear which were removed and block retainer wall built. We reused the original slate paving the client had as a pathway and cut them down to clad the newly built walls and banquette. To soften the edges of the slate slabs on the seating area we bullnosed the edge of the slab with our trusty tool and polished it up afterward down to a 200 grit.

Charcoal KL curbs were uses to form the planter bed and base of the Garden Pod which we finished with a silver granite. Granite slabs were cut down out of the surplus slabs and used as stepping stones to the Pod.

The most striking feature of this job wa the western red cedar batons used for the fencing. 😍😍

Here is a recent job completed in Miskin, The old concrete driveway was excavated, and new levels formed to incorporate and aco channel drainage system.

The additional sawn mint natural stone setts really makes this job complete. We also cut used sawn mint paving as copings on top of the retaining rock face block wall.

This driveway in Cefn Glas was raised using a retaining 9inch wall and faced with rock-face blocks & finished with natural stone coping stones for a little added je ne sais quoi. Slate Toberore Tegula trio formed the main body of the driveway with a charcoal border around the perimeter.

Discreet Linear drainage was installed adjacent to the house and plumbed into the surface water system to take the water run off from the driveway.
