Rewireable off-peak fuseboard upgraded to metalclad consumer unit with spd and type a rcbos and new storage heater fitted in place of a small panel heater as more heat output was required. Not a lot of room to fit this in but we made it work with a small contactum unit to house the 3 circuits required ⚡️

This is a post to make all existing clients and any future clients who may read this post aware, I am no longer taking on any electrical projects of any sort due to leaving the UK and taking an opportunity abroad, all current clients who are booked in for works to commence can ignore this post as I will be finishing these jobs before I leave.

Just wanted to say a big thank you to all of my existing clients for entrusting DB Electrical Services will all of your electrical projects, in my time serving Shropshire as an electrical contractor, I have managed to provide a quality and reliable service and achieved 34 5 star reviews making me the highest rated Bridgnorth electrician on Google, which is something I’m incredibly proud of. Large spec rewire has been finished today in Bridgnorth. 45 sockets, 16 Downlights, 9 centre lights, 3 ceiling fans, bathroom fan, 5 floodlights, loft lighting, complete kitchen overhaul with 2 oven supplies, hob supply and integrated dishwasher supply, main protective bonding and 2 consumer units, garage supply including 2 x led batten fittings 4 metalclad sockets and 2 way metalclad light switching. Whole electrical installation designed and installed by DB Electrical Services. It’s what we do ⚡️

Consumer unit replacement at this property which had its challenges, unsatisfactory PME connection at the incomer therefore a new 3/8” earth rod was installed in an earth pit, new 10mm gas bonding due to change of meter location, all circuits had to be extended in 100x50 pvc trunking in order to make a neat job of the board, type 1,2 and 3 surge protection device was used due to overhead supply and TT. ⚡️

New consumer unit fitted for a circuit supplying a sockets in this metal frame outdoor gazebo space. Power was needed for the led strip lighting, fridge, and beer pump, this included a 40 meter run of armoured cable down to the outdoor space. 3 x IP rated sockets fitted inside the cupboards for more hardwearing use and we also fitted a flush mounted socket under the counter top for ease of use for things such as a speaker or phone charger. elucian consumer unit and click accessories used on this one, very happy with the outcome. ⚡️

A couple of jobs carried out recently, the first being a board upgrade of two very old consumer units and main bonding wiring of a very old installation with no RCD protection which was picked up on the initial visit, and the second job being a couple of 16a sockets added for power in a workshop, on both jobs we used Scolmore Elucian consumer units and very happy with the outcome ⚡️

Very pleased with the outcome of this small domestic project, no existing centre light in this room, and no option to lift floorboards above for access to get a lighting feed, so wireless switching was used via a fused isolator to get the lighting in place. Ring final circuit extended to allow for additional socket points ⚡️

We relocated and installed a new consumer unit in this bungalow, as the original consumer unit was mounted high level to the ceiling in the pantry and this would have made it impossible for elderly occupants to isolate or reset any over current protective devices in the event of an emergency/fault, existing cables were extended to the new appropriate location of the consumer unit making for a much safer install going forward.
