Replacement consumer unit fitted at this property in Wordsley. As standard we fit main switch consumer units complete with Surge Protection Devices (SPD) and RCBOs for each final circuit, meaning any faults that occur are contained on that circuit rather than losing whole several circuits controlled by a stand alone RCD. On completion all the relevant certification is issued, and as we are NICEIC we deal with the building control notifications (Part P) to ensure the whole job is compliant. If your consumer unit is old and in need of bringing inline with current regulations, please do not hesitate in getting in contact.

Summer is finished 😢

Back to work and I thought I’d share this beautiful kitchen that we returned to second fix this week. All controls hidden in cupboards to give it a clean look down lighting for a nice modern feel. It’s rare that we fit a light for the first time, but this beautiful Laura Ashley pendant over the peninsula was a really nice touch and we’d never fitted one like this before.

Kicking Off a New Week with a Look Back

As we head into a new week, we thought we’d share a few of the smaller jobs completed over the past one.

We transformed a dark and dingy garage into a bright, usable space—though we’re not sure the customer really wanted to see everything so clearly! Now it’s their turn to tidy up!

We also added a security light to a driveway—simple work on the surface, but it’s essential that installations like these are done properly and by a registered contractor to ensure safety and reliability.

One of our personal favourites was this unique monkey light fitting. It held sentimental value for the customer, so it was a pleasure to get it installed and see the smile it brought to her face.

A bit of first fix work in this commercial kitchen in central Birmingham, including tray work, running lighting and small power, and supply and controls for the commercial extraction system. We completed the first fix of this 3 bed detached property in Bridgnorth this week. All of our rewires are done using a wall chaser which minimises the amount of patching required, and also a dust extraction system to help keep mess to a minimum. All the chases have been bonded ready for the house to be skimmed. The utility area is exposed brick so trunking has been used to keep it looking neat and tidy. As a company we specialise in rewires, so if your property is reaching a point where it needs a rewire, or you are refurbishing get in contact and we will happily advise you on the best course of action.
