Bank Holiday Reminder

Just a little reminder that our office will be closed on Monday 31st August for the Bank Holiday, reopening as normal on Tuesday morning.

We hope everyone has a lovely long weekend, whatever you have planned.

And apparently… RAIN is finally on its way!

After what feels like a very long, hot and dry summer, I’m not sure I’ve ever seen so many people actually looking forward to a bit of rain. Although, in true British fashion, give it a day and I’m sure we’ll all be complaining about that too!

For us, customer service will always come before making a sale.

We know choosing new windows and doors can sometimes feel a little overwhelming. There are so many styles, colours and options to choose from, and sometimes what you think you want at the beginning isn't what you eventually fall in love with.....and that's absolutely fine.

We're not here to rush anyone into making a decision. We're here to answer questions, go through the options and give our customers the time they need to be completely happy with their choice.

This review sums that up perfectly. Daryl spent the time helping our customer find the right door, and we're really pleased she ended up with one she loves.

A big thank you to our customer for such lovely words about Daryl, myself and our fitting team. Feedback like this is a great reminder of exactly how we want our customers to feel when they choose Southwest Trade Frames.

Some windows are all about the view... 😍

And this property certainly has one!

We absolutely love this recent installation. Our customers chose Agate Grey flush casement windows and doors, and we think they were the perfect choice for a home with this much character.

The large arched frame, incorporating a door and windows, makes a real feature of the original brick arch, while the separate arched window sits beautifully within the stonework.

Flush casement windows are designed with the opening sash sitting flush within the outer frame, giving a clean, understated finish. It's a style that works particularly well on character properties where you want the new windows to complement the building rather than take away from it.

And from the inside, all that glass really comes into its own, making the most of those countryside views.

Agate Grey, flush casement and plenty of character. We love how this one has turned out.

We've got some fantastic projects coming up over the next few months and our installation diary is already filling up fast in the run-up to Christmas. (Yes, we said Christmas... in August! 🙈)

Our customer's original white door was ready for an update, and they chose a Solidor with a Pebble Grey slab, Clarity glass and chrome furniture, finished with a door knocker.

A simple change, but one that has made a real difference to the front of the property.

❤️ The perfect door is worth taking your time over…

And this one definitely was!

When our customer first got in touch, she knew she wanted to replace her existing front door, but wasn’t quite sure on the style or colour.

Over a little time, we put together several different designs. Different colours, different ideas, a few changes here and there… until she came into the branch to see us.

While she was here, she spotted another customer's door that we had here ready to go out and loved the colour!

So we sat down together, took a little inspiration from what she’d seen and made a few more changes. Design number 5 was the winner! 🚪

Fast forward to yesterday and her new door is now installed. What a difference from the original! 💙

There really is no rush when you're choosing something that's going to be part of your home for years. Sometimes it takes a few different ideas before everything comes together, and that's all part of the process.

The best part? Hearing afterwards that our customer was over the moon with her new door ☺️.

Now THIS is a new build 😍🏡

We’ve recently completed works on this incredible new home in Chilton Polden, working alongside

We’ve installed the windows and doors throughout, including those huge feature gable frames that absolutely make this property! 🤩 Just look at the amount of glass and the views they open up from inside.

There’s still plenty happening on site before the house is complete, but you can already see how impressive the finished result is going to be.

We love being involved in projects like this, where the windows aren’t just there to fill an opening, they become a real feature of the house.

You'll usually be greeted by me, Liz. I'm often the first point of contact and I'll help guide you through the process, from your initial enquiry right through to organising your installation.

Daryl has over 20 years' experience in the window and door industry. His product knowledge is second to none, and he'll help you choose the right products for your home before carrying out a detailed survey.

Dan, our General Manager, oversees our day-to-day operations, making sure every project runs smoothly and every customer receives the high level of service we're known for.

We think it's safe to say this is a Southwest Trade Frames first… our very first pink Solidor!

Our customer knew exactly what she wanted and wasn't afraid to step away from the more traditional front door colours. Using our Solidor Door Designer, she created this beautiful Champagne Blush composite door, perfectly complemented by the elegant Dorchester glass.

The result? A front door that's full of personality, creates a welcoming entrance and proves that you don't have to play it safe when choosing a new door.

When our customer first contacted us, they knew it was time for a change.

Their existing windows and doors had seen better days, with draughts making the home less comfortable and the front door no longer giving the warm welcome they wanted.

We completed a full replacement of all the windows and doors, transforming the property's appearance while improving its energy efficiency and comfort.

To complete the project, the customer designed their own Solidor composite door, choosing a colour that adds character and creates a welcoming entrance they can be proud of.

We're delighted with the finished result, and most importantly, so is our customer.
