• This morning’s EICR (Electrical installation condition report) for a landlord.

• A few visual items noted requiring attention to receive a satisfactory report, but all in all not a bad installation to test.

• Have you checked when your last EICR was done?

A few upgrades made this week⚡️

• An outdoor socket install in Beeford and replacing some faulty bathroom downlights👌

• upgrading a few double sockets in a kitchen to USB/USB C and replacing a bedroom light in Snainton.
P.s I did replace the broken switch fused spur to the left of the new USB/C socket💪

Today’s consumer unit upgrade⚡️

Bit of a squeeze at the back of the kitchen cupboard but the consumer unit fits in nice and snug!

Saturday night, fault finding call out complete⚡️⚡️

A customer rang me this evening from Spain, one of his holiday lets in Bridlington had total loss of power and they have guests staying until Monday.

We arrived at the property within 15 minutes of the phone call and restored the properties power within 2 hours.

How a nick in a cable can cause drastic scenarios!😅

Both guests were happy they could keep there ice frozen for there G&T’s and watch the England vs France came tonight🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿🍸

And the holiday let owners pressure to rectify relieved⚡️👍

As tedious as building some of these fancy light fittings can be, it’s always worth it at the end of the installation when you energise it up.

What a great finish to a lovely extension we have been a part of.
