These beautiful new Accoya bay windows were manufactured and installed by our team, but this project came with its fair share of challenges.
Over the years, movement within the property had caused the original bay to sink, leaving the cills out of level and the entire bay out of line. This meant every measurement had to be carefully considered and each component manufactured to suit the existing building while ensuring the finished result looked perfectly in keeping with the property’s character.
Working on period properties often means adapting to years of settlement rather than expecting everything to be square and level. It’s challenges like these that make bespoke joinery so rewarding.
Manufactured from Accoya, these windows offer outstanding stability, durability and longevity, giving the homeowners beautifully crafted timber windows that should last for decades with the correct maintenance.
