From outdated Rosewood to fresh Agate Grey in Maldon

This Maldon home has had a complete exterior transformation, replacing the old dark Rosewood windows, doors and roofline with a much softer, more contemporary Agate Grey finish throughout.

We replaced all of the windows with Timberlook flush windows, giving the traditional appearance of timber without the maintenance, alongside:

-Two new composite doors
- Aluminium bifold doors opening the home out to the garden
- New fascias, soffits and guttering
- Agate Grey throughout to bring the whole look together

It’s amazing what a difference moving away from the old Rosewood finish has made. The Agate Grey has completely freshened up the property while the Timberlook windows retain that characterful, traditional feel.

Another day, another new-build front door that needs replacing!

This time we were in Wickham Bishops, where the homeowners were struggling with a generic front door that simply wasn’t performing as it should.

With the property sitting on a main road, a combination of an inferior-quality door and poor installation meant the sound of every car passing could be heard throughout the house – not exactly the peace and quiet you expect from a new home!

We replaced it with a Gerda Optima 60 entrance door, modernising the front of the property while tackling the noise problem at the same time.

Gerda doors are a little different from your typical composite front door. Their steel-reinforced construction gives them exceptional strength and security, while the Optima 60 offers high levels of acoustic insulation – particularly important for a home on a busy road. Add in excellent thermal performance and high-security multi-point locking, and you have a door designed to keep the noise and cold out, and your home safe and secure.

New composite door installation in Weeley

The previous front door on this home was the original one fitted when the property was built and, unfortunately, it was already showing its age. It had faded, become draughty and needed replacing long before its 10-year guarantee was even up – something we see all too often with poor-quality doors fitted to new-build properties.

The homeowners decided it was the perfect opportunity for a complete refresh, choosing a much cleaner, more contemporary green Comp Door that really suits the character of the house.

We also replaced the mismatched mullion bar and older-style obscure glazing alongside the door with new satin glass sidelights, giving the whole entrance a much smarter, more coordinated finish.

Finished with fresh chrome hardware and Kubu smart security built into the door, so the homeowners can check that their door is locked for a little extra peace of mind.

Full house of replacement windows and doors in Colchester

This project completely changed the look and feel of the property while making it warmer, more secure and far more energy efficient.

We replaced all of the old Georgian bar windows with brand new VEKA Halo windows, finished with an elegant Gothic Border lead design to give the home a timeless, traditional appearance.

One of the biggest changes was creating a brand new bay window at the front of the property. Where there was once a standard flat window, we widened the opening and installed a stunning bay that floods the room with natural light and adds real character and kerb appeal.

Another conservatory transformed in Wivenhoe.

Our customer was struggling with an old polycarbonate roof that made the room far too hot in summer and difficult to keep comfortable throughout the year. We replaced it with a new Ultraframe Livinroof system, featuring high-performance insulation to help regulate temperatures, improve energy efficiency and create a space that’s comfortable in every season.

New Conservatory Roof Replacement completed in Brightlingsea

This customer’s old polycarbonate conservatory roof had reached the end of its life, making the room far too hot in the summer and freezing through the winter.

We’ve replaced it with a fully insulated tiled roof system, turning the conservatory into a comfortable space that can be enjoyed all year round.

Thanks to the strength of the new roof system, we were also able to remove the old ugly tie bar, creating a much cleaner, more open feel inside. The transformation was finished with a fully plastered ceiling and stylish new LED lighting for a bright, modern finish.
