That’s the view of Magicman CEO Mark Henderson as refurbishment demand accelerates across the global cruise sector.

Passenger expectations are higher. Fleets are expanding. Operators are investing heavily in onboard experience and refurbishment programmes. But at the same time, shipyard capacity is tightening fast, with slots increasingly secured years in advance.

For Magicman, that creates opportunity. By embedding specialist repair capability directly within refurbishment programmes and operational workflows, cruise lines can reduce bottlenecks, minimise downtime and extend asset life without unnecessary replacement.
