12 square meter Heatmat under-floor heating system installed in this kitchen/diner renovation.

We always install the concrete insulation boards as this helps the floor be up to 80% more efficient, reducing warm up time and running costs.

We also always install 2 floor temperature sensors as once the floor has been finished these would be impossible to replace without causing any damage.

Heatmat offer a lifetime warranty on their under-floor heating mats and will come out free of charge and repair the mat if it ever was to break. They do this by finding the damaged part of the mat with a special machine, drilling a small hole to carry out the repair and then colour filling the hole back in making it barely visible.

A testament to Collingwood Lighting Ltd

16 years ago we fitted 10 of their WL070BNBM30 wall lights.

With only weather induced wear showing on the black finish of most fittings, the first one has now given up completely, exceeding the 7 year warranty by 9 years. 👏👏

We were recommended by a neighbour in the same road to the clients of this stunning property in Cobham.

We designed and installed the new lighting layout to the shrub beds in this recently renovated front garden.

Using 10 x stainless steel GU10 spike lights fitted with warm light lamps, we have given this front garden some depth at night and have highlighted the key shrubs and features including the 2 rose towers.

Controlled via digital time clocks, the lights will turn on and off automatically to the set program without the need to switch on/off manually each day.

Lovely kitchen/diner finished recently.

Some nice feature lighting installed using Collingwood Lighting Ltd 1w Lyte dimmable mini spots for the bare brickwork wall creating the famous CRE arch effect.

We also used Collingwood H5, fire rated, trimless recessed down-lights so that no glare is created from the ceiling lights.

The 4 lighting circuits are controlled individually from a 4-gang dimmer switch so that the mood can be adjusted for whatever use the room is in at the time.

Nice cosy little Annex refurbishment started this morning in picturesque rural location.

We were able to re-wire and replace the cabinet lighting in this stunning hand built kitchen this morning.

The 30 year old kitchen cabinet lights were in need of replacing so we changed the old 12 volt halogen lights with new 240 volt Ansell Lighting LED under-cabinet light fittings set to cool white.

Nice Kitchen island addition finished off this week.

We wired the supply’s to the island before it was fitted and then revisited to connect the hob and cut out the twin socket.

We also perfectly measured and laser aligned the hanging light fitting to the center of the island.

Amazing lighting transformation in this huge 8m x 7m garage.

The client wanted it nice and bright so he could detail his car inside.

With this in mind we replaced the 4 old 5ft twin fluorescent light fittings with 20 new JCC LED skydisks.

After we first fixed the wiring, the ceiling was then plastered and painted and then we the went back to install the new lights.

Firstly fitting the knightbridge 150mm firehoods and then second fixing and installing the lights.

They fit almost flush and totally blend in to the ceiling making them near invisible when the lights are off.

Check out these two stunning holiday cottages situated in the Southdowns National Park in Pulborough, West Sussex.

We were asked to carry out some additional works on a recent project after the room had been decorated.

When looking at the additional works I thought to myself “yeah, I reckon we could do that with little or no damage.”

Needless to say we nailed it! 2 new lights, 2 new switches and 2 new switched fused connection units chased in and wired with no damage at all.

We measured, laser levelled and marked out the boxes, then stitch drilled and hand chased out the boxes. Then we drilled into the cavity wall and fished the cabling through with our top secret hooking equipment. (Metal coat hangers 🤣) Finally we fixed the boxes in place and then second fixed the front-plates and lights supplied by the clients.

The client was delighted with the works and surprised how we managed to do it with no damage at all.
