This November 2026, Brighton Open Market proudly celebrates 100 years on its current London Road site! To mark a century at the heart of our local community, we’ve put together a special weekend of celebrations 🎂

Friday 20th Nov – Late Market
Market open as usual, with the Late Night Market running until 9pm, with music, talks and plenty of celebrations.

Saturday 21st Nov – Makers Market
A packed-out Makers Market, featuring some of our favourite traders.

Sunday 22nd Nov – Art Yard Sale
Join us for a special winter edition of Art Yard Sale.

20–22 Nov | Open Market turns 100!
Three days of celebrations:

On Saturday, Casazul hosted a Skull Painting Workshop for Seniors!

The group were helping us get things ready for our Día de Mu***os celebration at the end of the month.
azul.brighton are bringing us a week-long programme of activities to celebrate the Mexican holiday over half term. So give them a visit to see everything they are bringing to the market this October 💀

🌼 Beautiful Mexican traditions 💀 Colourful art and calaveras 🎨 Creative workshops and family activities 💃 Mexican folkloric dancing and music 🌮 Tacos, homemade salsas and traditional pan de muerto 🕯️ A community ofrenda to honour those we hold dear.

Oktoberfest At the Open Market 🇩🇪🌭🍺

and have teamed up to bring Oktoberfest to Brighton Open Market.

The Flying Saucer are serving up authentic imported German bratwurst and currywurst sausages to enjoy alongside special Oktoberfest beers from the drop.

Both are open every day so put on your lederhosen and give them a visit.

Our bench is officially out in the wild💙

100 Years of David at The Open Market, Brighton, as part of The Story Trail — a city-wide art trail by Amaze and Wild in Art.

Celebrating Sir David Attenborough’s 100th birthday, the bench honours his lifelong passion for nature and conservation.

The Open Market is one of Brighton’s hidden gems. Great food and indy vendors and lots of cool events in the pipeline. The market will soon be celebrating its own 100th anniversary too.
