Big one this week. Customer is having a loft conversion so this meant another bathroom and more rads. The old system was an old Worcester Greenstar junior 25kw combi and couldn’t cope with the demands for the hot water. The old boiler was situated in the bathroom room in a small cupboard so a lot of planning and preparation went into this and we couldn’t be more happy with the outcome. We upgraded this to a Vaillant eco tec plus 25kw system boiler with a 250lt cylinder and now this meets demands. Water pressure is amazing and another happy customer.

What a week and what a transformation 🤌🏻 customer is having a lot of works on the house so an upgrade was needed to cope with the hot water demand. An old Worcester combi out and a Vaillant eco fit pure 625 with an Ideal pro horizontal unvented 210lt cylinder in. A lot of time, planning and effort went in to this one and im over the moon how it’s come out 💪🏻 as per materials from the boys Ashton branch. Another happy customer 🔥

NOT ANOTHER ONE! 🤩 Yes, another system upgrade again this week from the team 🔥 Customer wanted better water pressure as the old system had gravity fed hot water cylinder and they also wanted the boiler moving to downstairs. As always, a Vaillant eco fit pure was our choice a 625 (25kw) also we fitted a Glendhill pro 210lt unvented cylinder to massively increase the hot water pressure and flow rate for the bathrooms 🚿 Massive well done to our apprentice for this lovely boiler install 🔥

Another system upgrade completed this week! ✅ the customer got in touch recently due to her boiler leaking. Unfortunately the boiler was out of warranty and the heat exchanger had spilt ❌ The old thermal store hot water tank was over 30 years old and leaking all over the place 💦 We recommend a complete system upgrade to future proof this system. Unvented 180lt indirect hot water cylinder, Vaillant eco fit pure 625 system boiler and Hive heating controls to suit 🔥

Been a bit quiet on the posting recently, so here’s a system upgrade from last week. Really enjoyed this one from start to finish. Customer had an old heat only boiler and small vented cylinder in the airing cupboard. As per the customer complained about the low hot water pressure so we recommended an upgrade. 210lt unvented cylinder, Vaillant eco fit pure 825 system boiler and Hive heating controls to suit. This job was all about future proofing the system. This customer got in contact with us to say they had a burst cold water mains in the loft early back in the year when we had that real cold snap. The leak caused a lot of damaged. The customer wanted us to remove the cold water tanks from the loft, replace the wet base, re build the base and then re fit the tanks back. We came up with a better idea, the customer had amazing cold water pressure and the room for a new unvented cylinder that would mean all the tanks in the loft would go and the new hot water pressure would be amazing. The customer agreed with us and we got going. A slimline 180lt Gledhill cylinder was our choice. It was definitely a tight squeeze but after a bit of planning making sure we could access everything for maintenance it came out looking really good. The Customer was over the moon with the new hot water pressure throughout the house and definitely doesn’t have to worry about anymore cold water main bursts.

Great shift from the boys this week, proper old graft! 🔥 An old house that was originally two houses with pipes going everywhere, not going to lie it got confusing at times but we pushed on and got it done! Nothing better than figuring it all out and getting it done. This system was an oil combi with an open vented cylinder upstairs. The combi fed downstairs and the cylinder fed upstairs. A new 300lt unvented cylinder in and vaillant eco fit pure system boiler was our choice, coupled with Hive Controls. One of my favourite to date this one and very happy how it’s come out. Out with the old and in with the new. This boiler had completely packed up and was beyond economical repair. A bit of prep work painting the back wall black, turned this one out brilliantly and the customer was over the moon 🔥 At kingfisher we take a lot of pride in our work, something we believe highly in!
