This week we removed a Leylandii hedge just in time for the start of the bird nesting season.

This hedge had become unmanageable and was causing a nuisance to the local residents. It was also creating excessive shade on the beer garden of the pub.

This job had the added challenge of avoiding 5 BT lines entangled in the hedge.

We are now looking forward to a well deserved pint in the beer garden, once the sun shows itself.

🌳 JOIN THE CREW: Climbing Arborists & Groundstaff Wanted! 🌳

King Tree Services is looking for new team members! We’re a small, friendly team of professional arborists carrying out high-standard domestic and commercial work across Bristol and North Somerset.

We are looking for highly motivated, safety-conscious individuals to join us on a self-employed basis. If you take pride in your work and maintain a professional manner with clients, we want to hear from you.

What We’re Looking For:
✅ Experienced Climbers: Min. 3 years experience + NPTC CS30, 31, 38, 39, 40 (Aerial Rigging).

✅ Groundstaff & Labourers: Reliable, efficient, and ideally with driving license/towing (B+E).

✅ Qualifications: Forestry/Arboriculture Technical Diploma Level 2 preferred.

Daily Rates (8am–4pm):
🧗 Climbers: £150 – £200
🪵 Groundsmen: £110 – £140
👷 Labourers: £100 – £110
