💧 GOING AWAY? DON’T JUST DRAIN YOUR HOT TUB! 💧

Closing your hot tub down for a few weeks might sound simple — pull the plug, drain the water and leave it.

But there’s a little more to it than that. 👀

Water can remain trapped inside pumps, heaters and pipework, while a damp spa left closed up can quickly become a breeding ground for bacteria, mould and unpleasant smells.

A proper temporary shutdown can include:

🔹 Draining the spa correctly
🔹 Flushing and clearing residual water
🔹 Cleaning and drying the shell
🔹 Cleaning/removing filters
🔹 Checking pumps, heater and equipment
🔹 Leaving the spa properly prepared while out of use
🔹 Recommissioning and balancing the water when you’re ready to use it again

Whether you’re going away, not using the spa for a few weeks, or shutting down a holiday property between seasons, we can take care of it properly.

⚠️ And heading into the colder months, correct winterisation becomes even more important — trapped water and freezing temperatures can cause expensive damage.
