Bifolding shaker wardrobe door 😮‍💨🪶

So the customer wanted to upgrade his wardrobe door as the existing sliding ones were damaged and faulty and no longer functional. But he didn’t just want another set of sliding doors as there was limited room to gain access and neither did he want normal opening doors as the door would open and hit the bedroom door when gaining access to the wardrobe.

So I come up with a bespoke bifolding wardrobe door which would allow maximum access to the wardrobe.

Safe to say the comstomer was over the moon and very satisfied with the outcome.

I would like to say a big shout out to dunc dog the painter for getting this painted for me 💪🏼😮‍💨

Kitchen Demolition Day 🛠️

Part 1 - Out with the old! There’s something very satisfying about ripping out a kitchen. the first step toward something new. Stay tuned 👀🪶

So this was my last job just in time for Christmas, complete new kitchen renovation 💯

There was a lot of pressure for sure but ofcourse we managed to smash it 😝😬

Removing the old falling apart kitchen and then replacing with a new sleek modern j pull Clerkenwell super-Matt sandstone, with white marble compact laminate worktops and ofcourse the backboards to match, then finishing off with a white composite sink and a golden tap 🤩

Not only did we fit a complete new kitchen we also removed all the flooring throughout (except living room) and replaced with a quickstep grey oak laminate flooring and then finished off with some primed chamfered skirting 💪🏼

The result is truly mind blowing 🤯 and I’m chuffed with the result and the customers are over the moon which we never settle for anything less 🤪

And I’d just like to say don’t be fooled of-course there was ups and downs and some minor mistakes were made along the way but we learn from them and keep moving forward, the one thing about social media and tv is that the problems are never revealed and that only the final result is shown. Construction isn’t what it seems, not everything or every job is as simple as it looks. Just keep that in mind some things work and some things don’t it’s about overcoming the problem and moving forward. Sometimes us tradesman are hard ourselves always pushing ourselves to our limit to produce a good result and when things go wrong it plays on our mind and why does it? (Because we care) we deserve a little more gratitude and respect. 🫡

Anyway to wrap this up I’d like to make a big shout out to the suppliers -

Would like to wish you all a very merry Christmas from me and the team .

Mila from accounts and jax from project managing and we cannot forget about the boss (arlo) that keeps the company running, keeping us in work 😝 and we also cannot forget our amazing designer ‘my partner’ (Maisie).

Then there’s me the poor bigger that does all the manual labour for free 😩😢

The second photo of the ‘boss’ doing his site visits checking up on me making sure I’m doing the job correctly, which it’s always a pleasure to see him turn up un announced to try and catch me off guard (whilst eating a banana)🤦🏻‍♂️

We’re also excited to announce our new team member joining us at the beginning of the year 👶🏼🩷

2025 has been and eventful year for us which is the year our journey began and I cannot thank you all enough for all your support, my dream is finally becoming a reality.

It’s still overwhelming and I seriously cannot wait to see what 2026 brings, looking forward to the upcoming projects and as I’ve mentioned before expect content 😬🤪
