A great effort from the team this week tackling the safe dismante of these large conifers in close proximity to garages, caravans and sheds.

A large limb had failed earlier on in the year, causing significant damage, this prompted our client to have the trees removed.

Span rigging techniques where used to lower pieces of the tree down safely with no damage to any of the targets below.

This poor red oak (Quercus rubra) had previously been hammered back to wooden stobs.This can often be a option on other species but isn't considered best practice for Oaks.

The tree had shot out loads of epicormic shoots due to being under stress from poor pruning trying to regain some of the crown it had lost due to being harshly pruned.

Luckily we were able to bring it back to some formal shape clearing out the epicormic growth, deadwood and reducing the canopy to more suitable growth points.

This week's overgrown eucalyptus removal was in close quarters to fences, neighbours decking and a very expensive Koi carp pond.

We dismantled the tree carefully using rigging techniques to avoid damaging any of the targets below.

No fences or fishies were harmed in the felling of this tree.
