Really proud and excited to announce we have been shortlisted for the National Association of Professional Landscaper awards 2027! 🏆
Having won silver merits in both 2022 and and 2025 can’t wait to head back next year in 2027 to see if we can pick anything up.
We have entered 2 projects for 2027 and just being shortlisted is a huge achievement from hundreds of entry’s to make the final selection is incredible!
So chuffed for the team who work so hard to produce amazing work everyday!

Ashton - Bristol Project finished!

Designed & Planted by Iron Butterfly Contemporary Garden Design and built by Green Bear Landscaping

On this project we took down the existing garage to open the garden and then removed over 40 Tonnes of concrete to get back to soil for planting. A new Fence and Gate was erected, along with a bespoke handmade pergola. Dutch clay pavers laid to create walkways through the planting and gravel. Stainless steel wire was used on the fencing and pergola to allow the new planting to grow over time. A wildlife pond was built and a new metal shed erected for storage and bikes. An In-Lite Lighting system all ran in for outdoor / evening lighting before painting in beautiful shades from Farrow and Ball. - Can't wait to see the space next spring once everything has had time to grow!

Just finshed this stunning new Resin Bound Front Driveway in Downend, Bristol.

240mm Dig out = 20.2 Tonnes out!
Drainage from house roof - sorted and plumbed into mains
New Concrete Kurbs to retain driveway.
Terram T1000 Non Woven Geotextile Membrane - over existing sub soil
200mm Type 1 MOT Hardcore compacted every 50mm
Granite Setts laid over a concrete pad
Addagrip Membrane and Grids (Terrabase system)
30mm StoneBound UV Addagrip Resin in 'Silver wood'

Suitable for cars, electric vehicles, Commerical vechicles, tanks, planes ect 😉

We also installed a new Victorian Air Brick, cladded the new side extension and installed some outside spots with the help of Essem Electrical - Bristol

Check out this amazing space we created for our clients in Stoke Bishop Bristol.

The high level of skill and attention to detail is incredible, showing our range of skills from Paving, excavation, Soakaway cells installed for improved garden drainage, brickwork, woodwork, clay paving / block paving, wildlife pond, soft landscaping etc. This is such a peaceful space to have outside your back door and the garden is bursting with life. All following from start to finish thanks to a well-designed and thought-out space. The wildlife pond is truly natures TV; I could sit in that garden for a week!

On project we designed well thought out levels changes to create areas within the garden enjoy. There’s space to cook, sun bath, relax, dine and entertain in. This garden features multiple lighting options, a pergola, seating areas, cooking space, an outdoor fridge, sun bathing space, hot tub, fire pit and even an outdoor hot & cold shower. The soft landscaping in the planting bays brings the garden to life, while not taking up valuable space. Low maintenance materials where selected to ensure every second in the garden would be enjoyed! What a space to come home to every day!

What an Awesome day last Friday @ the 2025 APL (Association of Professional Landscapers) awards in London where we entered a project into the under £20,000 category and picked up a silver Merit award! This was our second time at the awards and our third award, but what made this once extra special was we were invited by London Stone who looked after us all day and got to share the day with Nad (Site manager) and Claire Pollard (from Iron Butterfly Garden Design) who designed the garden. Really chuffed with the award and the amazing work the team produce on every project. Watch out 2026 as we have a few nice projects from last year to enter!

First job of the year ticked of last week in Bridgeyate, Bristol - This was the 4th garden on this estate we have completed!

Must being something right.

On this project Penny had this stunning Veranda installed by Eden Verandas and wanted the rest of the garden updated, so we removed the old tired sandstone and dropped in over 50m2 of this beautiful 600x600 Khaki porcelain paving laid in a chessboard style all framed with 100x100mm cream porcelain setts and a light beige grout to finish. We also laid new copping stones using 900x450mm slabs, cutting in the mitres, then cutting in the curves and then applying a bullnose detail to finish. What a space for the summer!
No Rain, Heater for when it is cold, Shade from the sun if required and lovely clean bright space to enjoy. Very jealous of this one!
