Founded in 1998, Bristol based MLG UK Ltd is a privately owned construction company. As a family run business we care passionately about our work and value our customers. Our primary goal is to consistently deliver a high quality service that is quick, efficient and safe. MLG UK Ltd undertake work within a variety of construction sectors; from rail infrastructure, to housing and domestic works. We

carry out a variety of services from timber works, concrete, electrical installations and civil engineering. We also supply Project Management and Health and Safety advice. For the past 17 years we have been carrying out works on Network Rail properties and therefore have access to specialist contractors within the rail industry.

🏡 Completed Project | Warminster Station

MLG UK Ltd carried out roofing works at Warminster Station following reports of water leaks within the café.

The works included repairing and waterproofing the existing roof using the Polyroof Protec liquid system, alongside replacing the existing guttering with new heritage-style aluminium guttering to improve drainage and complement the listed building.

The completed works have provided the café with a durable, long-lasting roof and improved rainwater management.

🏡 Completed Project | Oatley House

MLG UK Ltd carried out a roof refurbishment at Oatley House, a Grade II listed residential care facility built in 1925.

The existing roof had deteriorated and was causing water ingress, while the building's heritage and occupied setting meant the works needed to be carefully planned to minimise disruption to residents.

Using the Polyroof Protec Evolve System, our team was able to refurbish the existing roof without the need for a full strip out, providing a durable new finish while helping to protect the character of this historic building.

🏡 Completed Project | Overbridge Refurbishment, Oxford Train Station

MLG UK Ltd was engaged by Great Western Railway to carry out a full refurbishment of a pedestrian bridge at Oxford Train Station.

Working within a tightly controlled shutdown, our teams worked across multiple trades and shifts to ensure the bridge was ready to return to public use by Friday morning.

The refurbishment included new Polydeck treads, tactile surfaces and anti-slip finishes, alongside refurbished handrails, stringers and columns, creating a safer and refreshed walkway for passengers.

🏡 Completed Project | Eastcliffe, Portishead

MLG UK Ltd carried out a high-level re-render of the external parapet wall at Eastcliffe, Portishead, bringing a key feature of the waterfront development back to life.

The existing render had faded and deteriorated over time, so our team removed the old finish and applied a new render, restoring the vibrant colour of the distinctive lighthouse-style structure.

With its prominent position overlooking the Severn Estuary, we're pleased to have helped refresh this unique part of the Portishead waterfront.

🏡 Completed Project | Specialist Giraffe Installation

A slightly different project from the usual.

MLG UK Ltd was appointed to deliver the safe installation of a large ornamental giraffe structure, showcasing MLG’s flexibility and commitment to tackling tasks of any scale, from everyday maintenance to bespoke, one-off requests.

Before installation, our team carried out service scans to ensure the area was safe before securely positioning and anchoring the structure.

A unique project, completed safely, efficiently and with minimal disruption to the surrounding site.

🏡 Completed Project | Parc Plaza, Bridgend

MLG UK Ltd carried out the refurbishment of a 3,000m² car park in Bridgend, delivering a complete surface upgrade alongside the installation of a new drainage system.

The works included resurfacing the entire car park and installing 200 metres of new drainage to improve performance and help prevent future water issues, leaving the site with a fresh, long-lasting finish.

A great example of how thoughtful refurbishment can enhance both the appearance and day-to-day use of a busy commercial space.

🏡 Completed Project | St Monica's House

MLG UK Ltd completed the removal and replacement of the external staircase at St Monica's House as part of a wider project to improve accessibility and safety around the site.

The works included installing new precast concrete stairs, retaining walls, metal railings and associated finishing works, delivering a durable and modern access route while ensuring the surrounding areas were fully reinstated.

A great result from the team, delivering another high-quality project from start to finish.

🏡 Completed Project | Roof Refurbishment, Bristol Union Street

MLG UK Ltd completed the supply and installation of a full built-up roofing system in central Bristol using the Polyroof Protec liquid system, providing a 25-year guarantee.

With the building remaining fully occupied throughout the project, our team carefully managed the works to prevent water ingress while replacing the existing roof with a new 130mm built-up system. Polygrip walkways were also installed to improve durability and safety.

This project demonstrates MLG UK's commitment to delivering high-quality roofing solutions with minimal disruption to occupied buildings.

🔨 Project Update | Swansea Station

Work continues to progress at Swansea Station, with MLG UK's roofing team successfully completing the Polyroof installation to the upper roof and mansard roof.

The team is now focusing on the lower roof elevations as the next phase of the project gets underway. We look forward to sharing more updates as works continue.

🔨 Completed Project | Swindon New College

Swipe to see the transformation of this roofing refurbishment at Swindon New College.

MLG UK Ltd replaced the existing roof system with a new high-performance waterproofing solution, delivering the project within the six-week summer break to ensure the college was ready for the new academic year.

Despite challenging weather and a demanding programme, the team successfully delivered a high-quality roof upgrade that will provide long-term protection for the college's plant equipment and facilities.
