This will be the lowest price to buy from us this years.

Our part seasoned offer has been popular again and I expect to sell out. please get in touch if you would like to book in a delivery.

New price on Part seasoned firewood offer - available in May and possibly June depending on fuel prices and stock level

Loose load tipped on floor - the same quantity as 4 dumpy bags / 2ibc or 2.4 cubic loose metres for £276 - price in August will be expected around £330

OR

Loose load tipped on floor - the same quantity as 6 dumpy bags / 3ibc or 3.6 loose cubic metres for £380 - price in August will be £460

Also, we can offer 3 kindling nets for £22

In order to season it properly wood needs to be kept dry, have good airflow through it and be kept in the light. This wood has already been seasoned for 9 months and will be ready to burn in September of this year.

Due to the previous demand we want to be able to help as many customers as we can, so we have introduced a maximum of 3 tipper loads of part seasoned per household to new customers and we will continue to monitor this with our stock levels.

You must have good, easy access for a transit tipper. The wood is tipped on the floor and some customers choose to put a big tarp down before we tip as this helps with tidying up.

Problems with our phone lines

We have an intermittent fault with our phone line and several customers messages have not arrive.🫠 the fault is with EE but as it is intermittent it is proving difficult for them to find the solution. Should you not get a response back from us within 3 hours it is likely your message hasn’t reach us.

Oak, beech & ash mix 10 tippers available

I have sorted out tipper loads of part seasoned oak, beech and ash mix current moisture is averaging and 28% in the middle of the log - it will be ready to burn by September/october if stored correctly. The oak and beech is already 18 month seassoned.

Please message me if you would like a load delivered.

2 ibc - loosely tipped - £281 / same volume at 4 dumpy bags - 2.4 loose cubic

3 ibc - loosely tipped - £386 same volume at 6 dumpy bags - 3.6 loose cubic

We can also deliver them in dumpy bags however, at an extra cost of £20 due to time and costs involved packing them.

Very limited stock at this price

Part seasoned

Unfortunately due to the current strain on fuel I have taken an unexpected spike in demand on the below offer and i am going to sell out in April at this price. The new stock I am having to buy in considerable more expensive so I have very little control over this.

Saturday Delivery Driver Vacancy - 5 months contract

Liz’s Logs is looking to add to the delivery team and is looking for a delivery driver to help support demand. In return we can offer a good rate of pay and an established team to work within.

This particular role is suitable for someone who has experience driving a van and likes to follow a schedule and working alone.

This person will also need to be a minimum age of 25 ( due to insurance restrictions)

This is a self employed or pay-role position.

The day starts at 7.30 and will finish when the last delivery is done - this can vary depending on last drop and traffic but between 3 and 5.30 would be a realistic range.

No intended price increase

We are aware that many of our competitors have, overnight, increased their prices due to the increase in oil costs. I would like to say this is not something that we will do for the rest of this season. Our stock was bought at last year’s prices.

Having said that, our phone lines are busy. Please rest assured there is no need to panic buy. We have enough stock to see all of our existing customers through this season.

As we look to take on a few new customers this year, we thought it was best to confirm the distance we are currently able to cover.

Peak - October to January - within a 45 minute radius of Stanton Drew (bs39 4hq)- based on Google maps

Off peak (only part seasoned tipper loads) - February to October - within a 1 hour radius of Stanton Drew (bs39 4hq)
