Great job completed in the Cotswolds.

This one started as a simple re-render to fix some damp issues, but once we removed the old render we discovered the previous builder had used low-density Thermalite blocks with cement render. As the render came off, the blocks started crumbling away.

After further inspection we also found there was no insulation at all, so the only proper solution was to take everything down and rebuild the external wall from scratch.

Now the job is complete and the clients have told us their home is 100 times warmer and all the damp issues are completely gone.

Build it once. Build it right.

Two single-storey extensions giving this home a brand-new kitchen, living space, bathroom and utility room.
A huge transformation from start to finish — light, space and practicality all brought together with a clean, modern finish.
Just got to complete the garden make over now😊

Oh look another post 😊

We completed a knock-through and installed an RSJ to create an open-plan space, before plastering and painting throughout. This was finished with the installation of a brand-new kitchen and LVT flooring.

Another satisfying project completed by the team at Built in Stone!
This roof was in serious need of some major TLC, so we stripped it back, re-felted, re-battened, and retiled the entire thing.
Unfortunately, the original roof had been badly damaged by spray foam insulation, that we had to remove!! A BIG reminder to all - avoid foam insulation at all costs!
It causes more harm than good in the long run.

Here is a beautiful 2 story extension we completed a while ago, this included all of the interior works, kitchen, utility room and ensuite. Including landscaping of rear garden and front driveway being completed.
