👷‍♂️Meet Chris! (AKA the Scottish highlander who we can just about understand)

Chris is our Regional Operations Manager who recently left London to join the ORB family last October 2022. Chris helps the company achieve business goals, targets revenue, oversees daily operations, manages budgets, sets performance objectives, provides training and ensures products and services comply with regulatory and quality standards.

Outside of work, Chris likes to take his regular trips back to his hometown Scotland to spend time with his family and treats us to the famous shortbread biscuits when he returns - that's why we love him!😍

The job is near completion and we have a reliable local team that have worked alongside our Bristol boys for months, who are now taking the project to the end date🙌

Here are two of our office projects where our electrical engineers confidently installed floor boxes. With many design options available, these were specifically customised to match the flooring to allow for a discrete installation🔌

A floor box, which is considered an all-in-one solution for all necessary requirements, provides an easier expansion when adding data cables, offers easy access to power, voice, data and video and connects a workstation from a single consolidation point. They also come in various styles and sizes and can be installed in new construction or retrofitted into an existing floor🙌

We've been visiting Urchfont on cold and frosty mornings to capture the progress on all 3 & 4-bedroom detached houses🏡

Now that the foundations and brickwork are well on their way to completion, we look forward to starting the 1st fix M&E works in the first plots next week!

Meet Matt👷‍♂️

Matt has joined us as an Electrical Project Manager with years of experience in the industry. Matt currently oversees all electrical works at our Projects down in Carbis Bay, Urchfont, Bath and Weston-super-Mare. His day-to-day role involves managing relationships with clients, reporting to stakeholders, monitoring, controlling and executing the project specific delivery strategies, coordinating staff and internal resources, procurement of materials and ensuring project deadlines are met.

Outside of work, you’ll find Matt looking for extreme conditions to climb a mountain, working hard in the gym or occasionally (when not injured) and playing for the Melksham Rugby Club🏉

At ORB, we've headed into the new year with a fantastic start, having completed the second fixing and commissioning stage in Block B at our Blackberry Hill project.

Now Block B is fully completed and handed over to the developers, we have moved to complete the 1st fix installations in Block E, which consists of 18 deluxe new build apartments and 4 houses🏡
