Mill End Mill End Mitcheldean is a medieval holiday let which hosts family gatherings, celebrations, retreats and workshops. The building dates back to the 1400s and was once a medieval long hall then over time became a village pub, bakery and shop before becoming the country house it is today.

Westwind Oak designed and built the green oak framed garden room with 6ft square sliding doors (made by the client) leading into the beautiful and tranquil garden. It’s a great space to read and relax with all the natural light and a place to feel cosy in the colder months.

Are you thinking about adding a garden room to your home? This beautifully crafted structure has been thoughtfully designed to complement its traditional surroundings while creating a comfortable, year-round living space with panoramic views of the garden. It replaces an outdated conservatory that was unbearably hot in summer and too cold during winter months.

Now fully insulated, the garden room features a slate roof and locally sourced stone walls, blending perfectly with the character of the property. Inside, the vaulted ceiling and striking king post truss create a stunning central feature that adds both charm and architectural interest.

Additional features are the wood burner in the corner of the room. The whole room has an airy, lofty feel whilst remaining cosy. The room is glazed with bi-fold and sliding doors on two sides connecting to the beautiful garden and patio area.
