A race against the tides. A commitment to the community.

Dyson Construction are proud to have played the key role in the restoration and preservation of this iconic outdoor sea pool, helping safeguard it for future generations to enjoy.

Working in the marine environment brought a unique set of challenges. Every stage of the project had to be carefully planned around changing tides, unpredictable weather and narrow working windows. It was a true race against time to complete the restoration and reopen the pool in time for the summer season.

From structural repairs to preserving the pool’s historic character, every detail mattered.

Projects like this are about more than construction, they’re about protecting the places that bring communities together.

Groundworks are progressing well on this stunning new build in East Allington, where Dyson Construction is proud to be delivering the groundworks package.

From foundations and drainage to preparing the site for the next phase, every stage has been carried out with precision by our experienced team.

Great to see this project taking shape in such a beautiful Devon setting.

Now it’s time to move on to the masonry and bricklaying package — something Dyson Construction does best. We’re looking forward to seeing the building really start to take shape as the next phase gets underway.

🦏 Behind the Build

We’re proud to be the Principal Contractor for the exciting new Rhino Habitat at Paignton Zoo Environmental Park.

Delivering a specialist construction project within a live zoo environment has required careful planning, close collaboration and attention to detail throughout every stage of the build.

As the project enters its final stages, it’s incredibly rewarding to see the vision becoming a reality. From the installation of natural stone features and bespoke timber fencing to carefully shaped landscapes, every element has been designed with both animal welfare and the visitor experience in mind.

We’re excited to announce the start of construction works with Libéma at Paignton Zoo, where Dyson Construction has been appointed as Principal Contractor.

This project is a perfect fit for our team. We specialise in complex, live environments, and this site brings unique challenges - from working safely around the public in a fully operational zoo to coordinating construction alongside live animals, all while maintaining the highest safety standards.

It’s a privilege to play a role in bringing new life back to such an iconic and much-loved zoo. This project will help prepare the site for new and exciting animals, while also enhancing habitats and experiences for the animals already calling Paignton Zoo home.

Another incredible project right on our doorstep, and one we’re genuinely proud to be part of. We’re looking forward to seeing what this partnership brings in the future - rebuilding, restoring, and revitalising one brick at a time.
