Dead Macrocarpa removed for safety 🌳

This Macrocarpa had sadly died and was removed due to the potential safety risk it posed.

All timber and wood chippings were retained by the client and delivered to their field for future use.

It’s always a real shame to see a mature tree reach this point. Throughout its life, the tree had been heavily over-pruned and over-thinned, which placed significant stress on the tree and is likely to have contributed to its decline and eventual death.

A good reminder that excessive pruning can have long-term consequences for tree health. 🌳

Removal of a dead large Oak Tree

A handful of selective methods were used to protect surrounding species and outter building.

Tree left as monolith for habitat and to give back to the soil and help the surrounding ecosystem.

Cherry picker was organised, however the company didnt supply the right one fit for purpose. Upon this last minute arrangement, we changed the site plan and arrangement of works on the removal.

All wood was logged and moved to specific area to be processed into firewood.

Crown Oak Reduction by 1-2 Metres.

Wasn't so nice that half the crown was over the building.

Tree was protected and granted approval for reducing.

Dying Pine Tree Removal

The tree was declining and starting to rot from the top. Growth was very sparse, and the tree was removed to ensure it didn't fall on a nearby storage building.

Debris was stacked into habitat piles, and chainsaw cuts were made into the stem at 5 foot to encourage habitat for the woodland ecosystem.

Tulip Tree in Lyndhurst removed.
Sad to say the least!

The tree was protected but was granted removal due to a structural root being compromised by the surrounding brickwork. Although the tree was currently stable, there was a risk of failure during severe storm conditions.

Replant in progress and wood taken away to be processed into firewood.
