Storm damage call-out in Crewe 🌳

This tree had been damaged in the storms and needed removing from the property. With the crane in position, we were able to take the whole tree out in a single lift.

One lift, tree out, job done. Nice when the plan comes together like that 👌

Some jobs definitely make you earn your tea break 😅🌳

A proper day on the saws for the lads. Plenty of timber coming down, plenty to clear up and everyone kept busy from start to finish.

One of those jobs that reminds you why we enjoy doing what we do.

A bit of height involved at the Barnt Green Inn today 🌳

Up in the MEWP getting into the canopy and carrying out the work from above. Definitely one of those jobs where the view from the office is better than usual.

A roadside job for the Reeves team 🌳

Plenty to think about on this one with the trees right alongside the road and overhead lines running through the work area. MEWP in, traffic management set up and the team working through the trees to get them back under control.

Jobs like this are as much about managing the space around the trees as the cutting itself.

A recent installation completed for a local pub, adding these spiral faux trees to finish off the outside area.

Faux planting was chosen to give the space a smart, consistent appearance throughout the year, without the maintenance requirements of live planting. Each tree has also been securely set into concrete to reduce the risk of movement or theft.

A different type of project for the Reeves team, but a great example of the wider grounds and landscaping work we take on alongside our tree work. 🌿

A tree had failed and left a fair amount on the deck, so it was all hands on to get it dealt with that night.

Big timber, floodlights and a late finish for the Reeves lads. Not much glamour in these jobs, just getting there and getting it sorted safely.

Definitely earned the first brew the next morning

Plenty had already come off by the time this photo was taken, but there was still a serious amount of tree left below.

One of those jobs where the climber gets the view and the lads underneath get the logs, branches and sawdust!

Not much room for error on this one 👀

Working our way down section by section with buildings, fencing and plenty underneath to think about. The climbing is only half the job. Every cut has to end up exactly where the lads on the ground are expecting it.

Slow where it needs to be, steady all the way through, and another decent day’s graft from the team.

Keeping on top of the maintenance at this site today.

Hedges and shrubs cut back, shaped up and all the waste cleared away afterwards. A good tidy through the grounds and everything left looking sharp for the customer. 🌿👍
