Most people would be very happy with the lawn before we even started this renovation but lush green grass isn’t always what it seems. Ash has done a great job here with a hollow tine aeration and double pass scarify. Removing thatch and moss, relieving compaction and allowing water and nutrients to pass into the soil will do this lawn a world of good.

Hollow core aeration today. Much needed and the first step into bringing these lawns back to life. The biggest problem here is dry patch, moss and excessive thatch. Whilst we scarify each year it’s not getting to the root of the problem which is ultimately the underlying soil. Through applying targeted wetting agents at the right time and allowing the rain to pe*****te the rootzone we should see better drought resistance and also greater effectiveness of our fertiliser and overseeding (to follow) by the soil being able to hold onto moisture.
