Composite Decking 3/3 – Another Stunning Transformation 🤩

Another great transformation completed for a returning customer!

We took this decking from old, tired timber that required plenty of upkeep and transformed it into a stunning two-tone composite deck.

We also fitted new 4-inch timber posts to provide the necessary support for the weight of the overhanging roof, before cladding them in the same composite to tie everything together and give the whole area a clean, seamless finish.

Shed build completed to finish off the week!

Now it’s time to take a short break for the long weekend, a very well needed one! 😅

Had the pleasure of building this large composite deck, creating the perfect space for a hot tub and outdoor seating area.

The subframe was constructed using 8x2 timber bearers fixed to 100mm posts, all securely concreted into the ground and fixed with M12 coach bolts for maximum strength and stability. The hot tub area was reinforced with 7x2 joists installed perpendicular to the bearers at 300mm centres, designed to safely support the 2-tonne load of the filled hot tub.

The project was finished with two-tone composite decking and a timber pergola, giving the space a modern, stylish finish that’s built to last.

Friday fence to finish off a very busy week

Another composite deck completed, a great way to modernise your garden with a low maintenance space to enjoy the great weather we’ve had recently. ☀️

The customer opted for a rope balustrade, which I think complements the deck well.

5 Oak doors fitted for a customer in Buckie earlier this week.

The customer opted to to keep the old finishings. 2 of the doors were non standard sizes, one taken in and the other had to be rebated with a router to widen
It, to save taking the frames out and damaging the surrounding finishings and plasterboard.

Ranch-style fence completed last week

Built with double slats to provide extra privacy. All posts have been treated with bitumen paint 700mm from the base to help protect against moisture and improve longevity.

Part one of this outdoor project complete, a venetian style fence, giving this garden a clean, modern finish while adding privacy and durability
