Poor water quality is the number one cause of central heating system breakdowns.

This 18-year-old boiler was producing inadequate, tepid hot water and was beyond economical repair. Once removed, the cause was clear — heavy sludge contamination inside the plate heat exchanger and system, restricting performance and efficiency.

We replaced the existing appliance with a new Worcester Bosch 4000, complete with Worcester Bosch Professional controls and accessories, all backed by a 10 year guarantee for total peace of mind.

To ensure the new installation performs at its best, we carried out a full system cleanse using ThoroughFlush as standard, alongside the ADEY MagnaCleanse 2 and Vibra2 agitator. The system was flushed well, removing built-up sludge and debris to protect the new boiler and maximise efficiency.

The result? Reliable hot water and heating, improved performance, and complete confidence in a boiler installed the right way.

Here at JWC we have recently completed a full system conversion, moving the appliance to accommodate a new kitchen layout. 💧🔥

We’ve taken out the outdated loft cisterns and hot water cylinder and installed an efficient, space-saving Worcester Bosch combi boiler. Thoroughly flushed with Hive controls, complete with a 10 year guarantee.

We're also thrilled to share that JWC is now offering Air Source Heat Pump installations and servicing – moving into the renewables sector is a huge step for us and we’re excited to help more customers go greener! 🍃🪴

Maintaining water quality in heating systems is essential for the longevity of your boiler and the efficiency of your radiators.

On draining the heating system in a three year old new build property to replace a faulty motorised valve, extremely poor quality water was observed.

Once the valve had been replaced, the decision was made to flush the system using ThoroughFlush.

Using ADEY products such as MC3+ cleaner, the MagnaClean Micro2 filter and MC1+ inhibitor, the customer can now have peace of mind knowing that their heating system is in optimal condition and operating correctly.

To prove the water quality is to standard, ADEY ProCheck was used. ADEY ProCheck tests four main parameters which contribute to heating system breakdowns; inhibitor, corrosion, pH, and turbidity. Certification is provided when these parameters are met and to standard.
