Recently we replaced a consumer unit for one of our customers. All in preparation for the customers New EV Charger to be installed.

They originally had a “slapped in new-build” Dual RCD Board which we have replaced with Individual RCBOs on each circuit. In the event of a fault only the circuit with the fault will turn off.

In addition we’ve added a Surge Protective Device (SPD) to protect the electronics in the customers house from any overvoltage.

This week we had the pleasure of installing a Sync EV Charger, which comes with all the safeguards you would expect from a smart charger, just in a small and discreet box.

In addition we've installed a Surge Protective Devices (SPD) protecting the customers car from any nasty unwanted overvoltage.

Now the charger is ready and waiting for delivery of the customer brand-new plug-in hybrid.
