🎉 MASSIVE CONGRATULATIONS TO SION PARKER! 🎉

Everyone at JCS Interiors would like to congratulate Sion Parker on successfully completing his Drylining NVQ Level 2 qualification.

Since joining the team, Sion has shown a fantastic attitude, strong work ethic, and a genuine willingness to learn. His commitment to developing his skills within the trade has been outstanding, and this achievement is a reflection of the hard work and dedication he has put in throughout his journey.

A special shout out must also go to our Manager, Alec Banks, who has worked closely with Sion, providing guidance, support, and sharing his extensive knowledge of the trade. The progress Sion has made under Alec's mentorship has been excellent to see and is a testament to the value of investing in our people.

🚧 Supporting People Back Into Work 🚧

JCS Interiors is proud to support **Shropshire Council's RESTART Programme** through the Skills & Employability Course at the IHP/Vinci Skills Centre in Shrewsbury.

The programme is helping people gain valuable skills, confidence and industry experience to take the next step into employment.

We're especially proud to have welcomed **two participants into full-time operative roles** with JCS Interiors following successful work experience placements.👏 WELCOME TO THE TEAM!

Creating opportunities and helping people build rewarding careers is something we're passionate about, and we look forward to continuing our support of this fantastic initiative.

🚣‍♂️ JCS Interiors are Proud to Support the Severn Hospice Dragon Boat Race 2026! 🚣‍♀️

On Sunday 19th July 2026, Chloe Allen and Adam Sunderland will be taking to the water as part of the Hard Hat Heroes team in the Severn Hospice Dragon Boat Race against the IHP Vinci Vikings!

The Hard Hat Heroes boat is made up of members from the Shrewsbury Hospital B60 Project subcontractor team, including JCS Interiors, alongside Dalkia, Longworth, Gleeds, Edmond Shipway, Caxton, UK Access and Complete Fire Solutions. Together, we'll be battling it out against the IHP Vinci Vikings in a day of racing, fundraising and plenty of fancy dress fun!

Most importantly, we're raising money for Severn Hospice, an incredible local charity that provides specialist care and emotional support to families across Shropshire, Telford & Wrekin and Mid Wales living with incurable illnesses. Their care is provided free of charge, but they rely heavily on fundraising to continue their vital work.

The project team is aiming to raise £2,500, and we'd love your support to help exceed that target.

🌟 Meet Kellen Brown 🌟At JCS, we are proud to celebrate success stories that showcase the power of opportunity, hard work, and strong local partnerships.
Kellen joined us through a scheme with Shropshire Council designed to support people back into employment following a period of unemployment. From the very beginning, Kellen stood out during his work experience with his fantastic attitude, dedication, and willingness to learn.

Thanks to his excellent performance, Kellen secured a full-time position as a Labourer with JCS in January, and he hasn’t looked back since! 👏

Since joining the team, Kellen has successfully completed his Banksman training and continues to work closely alongside our more experienced dryliners, developing his skills and deepening his knowledge of the trade every day. His commitment and enthusiasm have been captivating to see, and we are very happy to support him throughout his development journey.

This is a great example of how strong partnerships with local services can help support NEET individuals, opening doors to new opportunities and helping people embark on rewarding career paths back into work.

JCS Interiors was proud to support the Skills School in Blackpool alongside Vinci Building and Blackpool & Fylde College, delivering an engaging presentation to students interested in pursuing careers within the construction industry.

Paul Hampson and Gary Fox provided an introduction to JCS Interiors, sharing insight into the specialist services we deliver across the sector and highlighting the wide range of career opportunities available within construction.

At JCS, we are passionate about supporting young people into employment and creating opportunities for the next generation to develop valuable skills, gain industry knowledge and build successful careers within the industry.

Working collaboratively with partners such as Vinci Building and Blackpool & Fylde College allows us to help inspire future talent and showcase the rewarding opportunities available within construction and interior systems.

A big thank you to Paul and Gary for representing JCS Interiors and delivering a fantastic session to the students.

JCS interiors was proud to support the Local Skills School in Shrewsbury in partnership with Vinci Build, delivering a hands-on work session designed to help develop and inspire the next generation of construction professionals.

We are passionate about investing in skills development within the communities and regions where we work, creating opportunities for young people to gain valuable industry insight and practical experience and getting them into work.

A special thank you to Kev McGuirk and the team for delivering an engaging and highly praised session, with excellent feedback received from both students and organisers. It was particularly rewarding to hear the enthusiasm from the group, with all nine students expressing an interest in pursuing opportunities with JCS in the future.

💚 Mental Health Awareness Week may have passed, however the message continues every single day at JCS Interiors. 💙

A huge thank you to everyone across our teams who got involved, supported one another and helped raise awareness throughout the week 👏

Our site managers even brought a bit of humour to the conversation with their “TORQUE” ➡️ “TALK” signs 😅 because sometimes the best way to break the stigma is by starting conversations in our own way.

Mental health matters in every workplace, and we’re proud to continue building a culture where checking in, having a laugh, supporting each other and speaking openly is encouraged 🤝
