🌟 Supporting Little Stars & Local Families 🌟

At JCS Interiors, we’re proud to support organisations that make a genuine difference within the communities around our projects.

We recently had the pleasure of making a donation to Little Stars, providing a range of essential items including nappies, baby wipes, formula, feeding accessories, safety gates and other everyday necessities.

These items will go directly towards supporting local families who need them most, helping to ease some of the everyday pressures that come with caring for young children.

A massive thank you to everyone involved in organising and contributing to the donation, and to the team at Little Stars for the fantastic work they continue to do within the community.

Sometimes the simplest things can make the biggest difference. 💙

In memory of a much loved friend and colleague ❤️

JCS Interiors, together with VINCI, are proud to have made a donation to Shrewsbury Men’s Shed based at the West Midlands Showground, Gravel Hill, Shrewsbury, SY1 2PF.

Shrewsbury Men's Shed provides a fantastic space for people to come together, share skills and support one another, while also producing some incredible handcrafted items and memorabilia that allow families and friends to cherish the memories of their loved ones.

Our donation was made in honour and memory of a much loved friend and colleague who will be greatly missed by everyone who had the privilege of knowing and working alongside him.

As our work continues on the Shrewsbury project, JCS Interiors and VINCI are committed to continuing our support for Shrewsbury Men's Shed and the valuable work they do within the local community.

A small gesture in memory of someone who meant a great deal to many of us. ❤️

🎉 Celebrating 7 Years with JCS Interiors! 🎉

This month, we’re proud to celebrate Mathew Debio's seven-year anniversary with JCS Interiors.

Mathew joined us as a Trainee Quantity Surveyor and, after qualifying, has continued to grow, develop and progress within the business. Today, he is an important part of our team as our Senior Quantity Surveyor. Mathew is now sharing his knowledge and experience by supporting and training our new Trainee Quantity Surveyor, helping the next generation follow the same path he began seven years ago.

At JCS, we believe in investing in our people, supporting their development and helping them thrive throughout their careers and Mathew’s journey is a brilliant example of that commitment.

Thank you, Mathew, for your hard work and dedication over the past seven years. Congratulations on this fantastic milestone! 👏

🌟 From Work Experience to Full-Time Employment 🌟

JCS Interiors is proud to work in partnership with the VINCI Skills School and Blackpool & Fylde college to help create meaningful opportunities for young people in the local community.

Through the VINCI Skills School, we welcomed two young people who were previously out of work and education to complete work experience with our team.

They both embraced the opportunity, worked incredibly hard and made a fantastic impression. We are delighted to announce that we have offered them both full-time, paid positions as labourers on our Blackpool site!

They will now work alongside our experienced team, developing their practical skills, gaining valuable industry knowledge and building their careers in construction.

Congratulations and welcome to the JCS team, we’re excited to support you both on the next stage of your journey! 👏

The JCS Interiors team recently enjoyed a well-deserved social night, giving everyone the chance to switch off, have a laugh and enjoy some quality time together away from the day-to-day of site life.

A huge thank you to BG and Max for putting on a fantastic night and bringing everyone together, it was really appreciated by all of us at JCS! 🙌🍻

🚣‍♂️💙 Proud to Support Severn Hospice Dragon Boat Race 2026! 💙🚣‍♀️

What an incredible day at the Severn Hospice Dragon Boat Race! JCS Interiors were proud to be part of such an amazing event, helping to raise money for a truly incredible local charity that provides outstanding care and support to families across our community.

A huge thank you to Natasha Pollard for all of the hard work that went into organising the teams and making sure everyone had a fantastic day.

We'd also like to give a big shout out to our fantastic JCS team Chloe Allen, Adam Sunderland and Lucas Rapsevicius for representing JCS with great team spirit👏💙

The Hard Hat Heroes took on the Vinci Vikings, and... let's just say it's the taking part that counts! 😄 Congratulations to the Vinci Vikings on a well-deserved victory, you certainly earned those bragging rights!

The real winners are Severn Hospice and everyone who will benefit from the vital care and support the charity provides.

🚣 **Paddles at the ready... it's almost race day!**

This Sunday 19th July, two of our JCS Interiors team, Chloe Allen and Adam Sunderland, will be swapping tools for paddles as they take on the Severn Hospice Dragon Boat Race 2026
Representing the Hard Hat Heroes, they'll be racing alongside fellow members of the Shrewsbury Hospital B60 Project team against the **IHP Vinci Vikings** in what promises to be an action-packed day of teamwork, friendly competition and plenty of laughs (with a little fancy dress thrown in too!).

Their services are provided free of charge, making community fundraising events like this essential to helping them continue their outstanding work.

🌧️ We're definitely missing the sunshine today! ☀️🍦

Looking back to last week's hottest day of the year, our Director, Paul Sterry, treated the team on site to a well-deserved visit from the ice cream van.

It was the perfect way to cool down and say thank you to everyone for their hard work during the heatwave.

Safe to say we'd swap today's rain for another ice cream in the sunshine! 😄

What happens when education and industry come together with a shared purpose? Opportunities are created, confidence grows, and careers begin.

Today, JCS was proud to deliver our first Drylining Masterclass at Blackpool College, marking the beginning of an exciting partnership that will see us deliver monthly sessions throughout the academic year.

Together, we're committed to supporting people who are unemployed, as well as young people who are NEET (Not in Education, Employment or Training).

One of the standout moments of the day was watching our plastering apprentice, who is also a student at the college, confidently demonstrate his taping and jointing skills. Seeing someone who is already progressing in their career share their journey with others was a powerful reminder of what can be achieved with the right opportunities and support.

The enthusiasm and engagement from everyone who attended made the session a real success, and we're already looking forward to building on this momentum when the new academic year begins.

A huge thank you to **Andrew Atkins, Declan Burkitt, Gary Burkitt and Paul Hampson** for delivering such an engaging masterclass and showcasing the skill, professionalism and opportunities that exist within the world of drylining and construction.
