After installing nest smoke alarms so much lately I decided to upgrade my own. I can honestly say best decision ever. We blew a candle out the other day and my alarm instantly talked to me saying. Smoke has been detected in your hallway. Which I knew was a false alarm as I jumped up to check. I was then able to silence the alarm from the nest app. They are great and also double up as a carbon monoxide detector.
