🚿 Bathroom renovation underway! 🔨

Another one stripped right back ready for a full transformation.

Once we got the old bathroom out, we uncovered rotten flooring underneath, so there was only one proper way to deal with it — floor up, damaged boards out and replaced properly before we carry on.

It’s the bits you don’t see when the job is finished that make all the difference. No covering problems up — get the foundations right and build it back properly. 👌

Another new boiler installed & another happy customer 🔥🏠

This week we replaced the existing boiler with a new Baxi 400 combi, neatly installed back into the existing cupboard.

Leaking wet room sorted ✅🚿

This existing wet room had developed a leak, so we removed the old tray and replaced it with a new non-slip low-level shower tray.

Rather than unnecessarily ripping out the full bathroom, we carefully patched the existing tiling around the new tray, retaining the accessible grab rails and shower setup.

A much more practical, watertight and safer solution for the customer.

Another kitchen installation completed by the Intricate Plumbing Contractors team.

New commercial gas pipework installed to serve the kitchen equipment, including isolation, gas solenoid valve and clearly labelled pipework throughout.

🔧 Commercial Heating Upgrade – Pye Motors, Morecambe

Another commercial heating job completed by the Intricate Plumbing Contractors team, this time at Pye Motors Morecambe⁠.

The existing heating pipework and headers had suffered from significant corrosion and deterioration, so the old sections were removed and the system pipework rebuilt.

The works included replacing the badly corroded steel sections, installing new copper distribution pipework, valves and fittings, and fitting a new low-loss header, before reconnecting the existing heating circuits and getting the system back operational.

The difference between the old installation and the finished job speaks for itself. 👌

Huck Construction – 1st Plot | 1st Fix Complete

The 1st fix plumbing and heating installation has now been completed on the first plot at our Huck Construction development.

At this stage, every pipe, waste, service route and connection is installed with precision before the walls are closed up. Taking the time to get it right now ensures a smooth second fix and a reliable system for years to come.

On this first plot we’ve completed:

* ✅ Hot and cold water services
* ✅ Soil and waste pipework
* ✅ Heating pipework for an air source heat pump system
* ✅ Underfloor heating pipework and distribution
* ✅ Pipework pressure tested and ready for the next stage

It’s the work most people will never see, but it’s the quality behind the walls that defines the performance of the finished home.

A fantastic effort from the team. On to the next plot.

Another one complete and ready for concrete! 👌

Today we extended the existing underfloor heating system into a new extension.

When we originally installed the heating system throughout the property, we planned ahead by leaving spare ports on the manifold, knowing the customer intended to build an extension in the future. A little forward thinking has made today’s installation quicker, neater and more cost-effective.

The rest of the house is already heated by our overlay underfloor heating system, powered by a heat pump, so it’s great to see the project continuing to come together.

We even managed to install our exclusive multi-coloured UFH pipework package… at no extra cost! 🌈😂

The system has now been fully installed, pressure tested and is ready for the concrete pour.

We’re looking forward to returning soon to complete the bathroom and put the finishing touches on another fantastic installation.
