Another successful project delivered for Soufflet Malt at its Burton-on-Trent facility. ✅

Woodward Group was tasked with modernising Soufflet Malt’s pelletiser process, improving operator safety and giving the team greater control over production. Working closely with site personnel and suppliers, we delivered a new MCC control panel and HMI, upgraded instrumentation, bespoke software, and full commissioning of the system.

The upgraded process is already reducing operator intervention, improving efficiency, and providing better visibility across production, all while meeting requirements within designated hazardous areas.

Having previously supported Soufflet Malt with the installation of two new germination vessels at the same site, it was great to build on that relationship and deliver another project together.

Huge congratulations to the team at Woodward Group who completed the this weekend. The weather may have been challenging at times, but everyone really rallied together and supported each other right through to the end. 💪

The team tackled Pen-y-Ghent, Whernside and Ingleborough, covering around 24 miles of challenging terrain (including 5000 ft of vertical ascent!) all in support of Ronald McDonald House Charities UK. 🏔️🏔️🏔️

Ronald McDonald House UK provides free “home away from home” accommodation for families with children undergoing treatment in hospital. Its 14 houses across the UK give families a warm and comfortable place to rest, eat and relax, just moments away from their child’s hospital ward, and provide invaluable support to families at a critical time in their lives.

We are delighted to have gone beyond our target and raised a fantastic amount of money for such a worthy cause, and would like to thank everyone who has supported us so far.

Tomorrow’s the day! Several members of Woodward Group will be lacing up their boots ready to take on the in support of Ronald McDonald House UK 🏔️🏔️🏔️

The team will set out across Pen-y-Ghent, Whernside and Ingleborough, covering around 24 miles and 5,000ft of climbing in a single day, all to raise funds for a charity that means a great deal to us.

Ronald McDonald House Charities UK provides free “home away from home” accommodation for families with children receiving treatment in hospital, so they can stay close when it matters most.

Congratulations to our Employee of the Month for April - Matt Brooks 🏆

An Electrical Supervisor at Woodward Group, Matt has done a fantastic job leading and supervising the team on site at a recent project in Bury St Edmunds, ensuring works are carried out efficiently while consistently meeting programme targets. His organisation and leadership have played a key role in keeping the project running smoothly and on schedule.

Alongside this, the quality and standard of work delivered under Matt’s supervision has been outstanding, reflecting his attention to detail and commitment to doing the job right.

Woodward Group is delighted to have been successful in our bid to undertake five Compleat Food site LED lighting upgrades, which will see us install over 9,500 fittings. 👏

The new upgrades will allow Compleat to reduce its energy bills considerably, delivering a full return on investment in around two years.

On 9 May 2026, Woodward Group will be taking on the in support of Ronald McDonald House Charities UK - a charity that means a great deal to us.

We will cover approximately 24 miles across Pen-y-Ghent, Whernside, and Ingleborough, tackling over 5,000 ft of ascent within 12 hours. ⛰️⛰️⛰️

This is a challenging route through the Yorkshire Dales National Park, and one we are proud to take on to raise funds for families supported by this incredible charity.

We’re proud to have supported Ibstock Brick's Futures Division with a phased electrical and fire safety installation at its Nostell manufacturing site.

This project was delivered across two phases, helping to power both traditional and modern methods of brick slip production within the same facility.

Through careful planning and close coordination, both phases were delivered to support the site’s advanced manufacturing processes while ensuring the installation is safe, reliable, and ready for future growth.
