East Anglian tree amigos, please support your local trees & vote for the amazing 750 year old Tea Party Oak from Ickworth Park in Suffolk 🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽 (Ickworth is my spiritual tree home where I used to live and work & where I learnt to climb). The Tea Party Oak is an ancient oak with a girth over 10m & gets its name from parties held under the tree by local children & nothing to do with the right wing American political movement !!😉

The Darwin Oak, nominated by the Tree Hunter, Rob McBride really needs our support as well, because it is under significant threat from road building 😔

It was great to collaborate on site at Sherwood with our Spanish friends despite the cold 🥶!

The sub-zero temperatures in Sherwood Forest over the past week haven't exactly been what the western Mediterranean has been experiencing.

But Spanish arborists Juan Estrada and Manolo Gil from Alicante just layered up and headed out in to Robin Hood's forest with Urban Forestry Ltd as part of an exchange programme.

The team from Urban Forestry, which has been carrying out work at Sherwood for more than a decade, was back here again to assist with our winter works programme, always timed to prevent disturbance to wildlife breeding season.

The work focused on creating more light and space for some of Sherwood's veteran and ancient oaks to thrive by removing carefully selected younger competing trees and opening up the surrounding canopy.

We are super excited to say our talented landscapers have just won a national award at the British Association for Landscape Industries award ceremony in Park Lane, London last week!! We won the Principle Contractor Award for our landscaping work at Botesdale recreation ground in our home county of Suffolk. The judges loved how we were able to transform the recreation ground with vision, skill and professionalism. A big thank you to our old friends at James Blake Associates, who undertook the design and project management- it was great to collaborate with them again on this community based project.
Most importantly- a massive thank you to all our guys and girls who worked on this job. You did good folks!! We are so proud of you!! Thank you 👏🏽 👏🏽 👏🏽

We are an Arb AC company working throughout East Anglia (and occasionally further afield) who are market leaders in ancient tree work & veteranisation.
