Another new build garden completed on time and within budget

18 tonnes of spoil removed ✔️
11 tonnes of type 1 sub base levelled and compacted ✔️
Acos installed against the house ✔️
Raised planting bed to even and divide the 2 garden tiers ✔️
50 square metres of Kandla Grey Indian sandstone laid ✔️
Footpath and ramp towards shed base ✔️
8 tonne of fresh topsoil added and turfed ✔️
Sealed decorative stone added ✔️

Despite the typical British weather (rain, lots of rain) still managed to complete this project on time and on budget.

A garden with many different levels can prove a little challenging, so worked with the customer to create a 3D design image for them to visualise. They're happy with the results and said its exactly how they wanted it.

✔️ New patio area with raised brick plinths and aco drainage
✔️ Sleeper installed for a veg patch and planting area
✔️ Old footpath slabs replaced for kandla grey Indian sandstone

Whilst working at a different job, their next door neighbour wanted some advice on how to make use of the levels of their garden.

Within 3 weeks I was back to:

Install 8 retaining sleepers along the back fence to raise the garden levels ✔️
Lay 84 slabs to hold a new shed and greenhouse ✔️
Lend my rotavator to the customer so they can airate the topsoil ready for turfing ✔️

In and out in 4 days, working off the trailer to minimise mess and keep their driveway clear.

Over to you to finish topsoiling, turfing and planting.

Despite a set back from the slab delivery, still managed to finish this project on time and on budget for her family to arrive and enjoy the garden.

Had to dig the proposed flower bed out at a depth of 300mm and replace with actual topsoil (believe it or not .... plants don't tend to grow well in solid clay ;) ) resulting in around 26 tonnes to be excavated from the garden and patio areas.

Existing patio area lifted, excavated, type 1 compacted and a larger area laid with aco drains against the house. And a second patio area to enjoy the sunshine.

18 tonnes of clay, 'topsoil' and turf out, plenty of gear back in, (suprised the wheelbarrow hasn't burnt out) and 13 days later ..... here's the result.

Complete transformation of another new build garden. Really enjoyed this project, from designing the intial plan to putting the last drop of sealer on the slabs.

Thanks for all the coffees.

Diary is nearly booked for the year, so get in touch as soon as possible.

Apparently grass seed was added to the grass ..... not the way we do it thankyou

Turf removed using turf cutter ✔️
Existing topsoil rotavated to a depth of 300mm ✔️
Any debris, stones and weeds removed ✔️
Fresh topsoil added and levelled ✔️
New turf laid and relaid the stepping stones ✔️

No mess, in and out in one and a half days, customers so happy she wants us to come back and do the patio, see you soon 👌

Friday filler, small patio extension and finished off the top end to create a bin store.

Always tricky working off someone else's work (some reason they decided to cut the indian sandstone creating an odd bond) but think I got it.

Moved all the pot plants and gave all the slabs a good clean aswell for good measure 👌
