We managed to house all of the major components for the heat pump system within the under stairs cupboard. UFH downstairs and correctly sized rads upstairs will make for a very efficient system

Here’s one of our latest ASHP installations. This system has been sized to heat a very large domestic property with a 16kw power requirement at -4°c. The refrigerant split Alfea unit was chosen due to performance and the siting requirements of the outdoor unit. The refrigerant split system enabled us to locate the outdoor units discreetly away from the house and patio area. The two indoor units are connected to a 200L buffer vessel suppling 350m2 of UFH

Here’s one of our latest ASHP installations. This system has been sized to heat a very large domestic property with a 16kw power requirement at -4°c. This GSHP installation was recently completed by Plumbtec. The project was a 120 year old house currently heated by an anthracite boiler. The central heating radiators and pipework had to be replaced to achieve the best performance from the new low temp heat pump. We opted to install 2 x STIEBEL ELTRON 13kw ground source units combined with a 400 Litre buffer and 300 Litre hot water cylinder. The ground collector is a horizontal ground loop with 8 x 120m loops totalling 960m of collector buried at 1.2m

Our latest low temperature heat pump installation commissioned today. The homeowner had been heating their home and hot water with and lpg combi boiler for the past 7 years. They needed to reduce their energy bills and improve the system efficiency Designed with energy efficiency at the core, the system we specified will have a max flow temp of 45°c at -3°c. Currently running around 34°c on this fresh Autumn day. We opted for the 9kw low temp monoblock for this protect as it was a perfect match for the load requirements and temperature required to meet our design. All internal and external primary pipework insulated with to ensure the system performs to its best. Thanks to and for suppling the kit
