🏠 Roof Felt & Batten Replacement – Another Roof Saved!
We’ve recently completed a job where the original roofing felt had failed and perished, especially in the vulnerable eaves area. This had started letting moisture through and could have led to bigger problems down the line.
🔨 Our solution:
✔️ Carefully stripped the roof
✔️ Removed all old, damaged felt and battens
✔️ Installed new high-performance breathable membrane
✔️ Fitted new treated roofing battens
✔️ Reinstalled the existing tiles to keep costs down while giving the roof a fresh, secure foundation
The tiles were still in good condition, so reusing them was a great way to make the roof watertight, breathable, and long-lasting without the cost of a full new tile replacement.
